Today's topic is very important and attention-grabbing because the use of social media has become very high today, as everyone has a mobile phone. Hence, people share their every moment on social media. They have the personal right to upload any kind of content on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc. This content can be on political, religious, and many other issues, but the question is whether we can share this content of our own free will. If this opinion is not received from an institution, can we be fired from our job or education?
Every human being has the right to share any kind of content of their own free will, but for this, there must be no abusive or immoral content in it. It is inappropriate to lie or act morally in any way. The thinking of an institution may be different, but no one can be punished for expressing their opinion. Any person has their own political, moral, and social right, but they should express their opinion within the framework of civilization.
Different institutions have their own rules. They have rules, and their principles include that no one should speak against their organization. These organizations keep instructing their workers that no one should speak against their policy.
Since youth are going through a learning process, they are emotional. They should be made to understand that if they are sharing their opinions on social media, they should do so within the realm of civilization and keep their emotions under control. This action of theirs can lead social media in a positive direction.
Employed individuals also have the full right to express their opinions on social media, but they should not share personal content of the company or organization. However, if they are expressing their opinions in a civilized manner and are not violating anyone's rights, then they should not be punished.
To maintain balance, organizations should clarify their policies and explain to individuals that they should exercise their freedom of expression by keeping these policies in mind. Use social media users responsibly and do not share hateful or immoral content so that the balance is maintained.
The use of social media has increased a lot in our country. People have started sharing such content that is immoral and includes hatred. Fake news is spread. Even cartoons of political and religious leaders are made. People are made to hate each other. I think this is what needs to be done. We are using social media in the wrong way and when we get punished, we criticize it. We should also avoid sharing such content.
