I welcome all my friends to this blog today. I am trying to participate in the contest in Hive Learners community with a consistent attitude, and I believe that participating in the contest is to increase my knowledge because the contest topics are such that after searching for them, you write on them, which also increases your knowledge. So our topic today is whether it is permissible to lie sometimes or it is better to excuse it. This can be an interesting topic in this case. So let's move on to the topic and see if the readers also like this topic.
Before going to this topic, we need to know what truth and lies are. Truth is that which is based on reality and has not been adulterated. What you have seen and heard same statement is called truth. Lying is the act of hiding and misrepresenting the truth, which is done either intentionally or unintentionally. Lying is considered wrong in society, but sometimes it can be said where there is a risk of saving lives and breaking relationships.
Now we examine lies and truth from an intellectual perspective, as most of us have been clear about the difference between lies and truth since childhood. We were told from childhood that lies are bad and that truth is seen as good, so we should always support the truth. Most of us stand with the truth, but there are some self-interested people who do not hesitate to support lies for their benefit.
Now we try to look at lies from an Islamic perspective. Islam also gives special importance to lies and considers them bad. In Islam, lying is considered a major sin for those who lie. However, forgiveness for lies is possible in certain circumstances.
If a husband and wife quarrel
During a war
While trying to reconcile between two people
Then forgiveness for lies is possible in these cases, and lying is not considered a sin. Telling the truth may prove beneficial for a while, but its losses are compensated for in the long run. Telling one lie gives rise to more lies. An example of this is that to cover up one lie, 100 lies have to be told, and even then, it does not prove true. Now, if you want to have a heart and mind that avoids lies, the best solution is to try to avoid lying and support the truth. The liar loses his trust, and people stop trusting him, and this continues for a long time. Therefore, it is better to avoid lies.
There are some places in life where we have to decide whether we should support the truth or lie. First of all, I ask myself what I should do. For example, if I am attracted to lies, then in the short term, I will derive some benefit, but in the long term, I may have to suffer the loss. I will lose my trust. People will not pay attention to what I say, and even if I say something based on the truth in front of them, they will consider it a lie. Therefore, my own decision is that I am with the truth. I never lie and speak based on the truth, even if I have to suffer a loss from it. My effort is to put the truth in front of everyone. And if I have made some mistakes or shortcomings in the past, I accept them and go towards forgiving them. I do not think that if you tell the truth to anyone and tell them that these are my old mistakes, please forgive them, they should not do that. I do not understand this. Therefore, we should support the truth and apologize for lies. My opinion is in front of you. Please read this article and let me know your opinion.
