As human beings in this day and age, we have all been in vehicles at least a couple of times, unlike in the past, vehicles are pretty much everywhere now and it is impossible to get anywhere without them. While vehicles have come to make life easier, like all good things vehicles have their disadvantage, a major one being accidents. When vehicles are misused crazy things can happen. Today I'll be sharing one of my craziest experiences with a vehicle.
I remember it like it was yesterday. It was a Sunday afternoon and my cousins, my sister and I were going to the swimming pool to chill out and have a good time. On our way, we stopped off to pick up two of my cousin's friends. Now these friends are crazy dudes, they're free spirited and fun loving and they have crazy road rage, hehe. So my cousin was driving and they kept on talking about how she wasn't driving fast enough and how she was being lenient with some other drivers, making it seem like they were taking advantage of the fact she was a lady. And it was then I saw peer pressure in full swing. My cousin started driving completely differently from how she was driving before, but that wasn't the craziest thing that happened.
There was little traffic at a bus stop, we were driving slowly in our lane and then this crazy bus driver who refused to stay in the lane was trying to overtake us. My cousin was already slowing down when her friends started shouting
"No gree, no gree for am." meaning don't allow him
she stepped on the accelerator so he wouldn't come in but he refused to stop. This was when one of them brought down the door glass and threw the cold water on his hand on the bus driver's face. The driver was flabbergasted and stopped for a while. Then we all started laughing and screaming at her to step on the gas.
The driver started chasing us, but there was no way he could catch us because we were driving way too fast for anyone to catch us, and I am sure those on the bus also discouraged him from the chase.
We were very lucky we didn't get hit by the bus (it was our parent's car), we were lucky there were no police on the road and that it was free, the speed with which we ran could have easily led to an accident. Everything aligned on that day, but afterwards, I realized how reckless we were and I also told my cousin about it and she understood.
So yeah that's it, it was exhilarating at that time, but it is definitely not something I want to happen again. Vehicles make life easy, but like all good things reckless usage can be very dangerous.
