Hello everyone your welcome to my blog today
Hospitals are naturally places that require qualified professionals and high-quality equipment, just imagine how much infrastructure is needed in such a place. Doctors themselves are expensive professionals, and for good reason, since they dedicate many years of their lives to becoming qualified and, consequently, are well paid.
And not only doctors, but nurses and all the other professionals necessary to keep a hospital fully operational. Besides that, think about the amount of equipment, products, medicines, utensils... wow, it is not cheap at all to maintain a hospital and, considering that each patient is effectively a customer helping keep the place functioning, since everything generates costs that need to be paid, a person who cannot afford those expenses becomes a financial loss.
The health care situation is very complicated in several countries around the world. The good health of citizens, which should be one of the fundamental things in life, has become a market, in which the focus is no longer on keeping the patient well, but on increasing profit. And the problem has spread beyond hospitals that treat last-level problems, but to day-to-day consultations, where instead of prescribing cheap medicines or long-lasting solutions, it seems that the objective is to keep the patient alive, but continuing with the problem, which causes them to spend much longer on maintaining their health than would otherwise be necessary.
As the population in every country or every place is way higher and if I talk about the India it's the second top most country. So it's but obvious that as much higher the population there are more ways that people will get sick and they need some treatment for some diseases. As we all know that there are many variety of diseases and when it's get out of control to cure we of course need to run to doctor. But the main question is about the money. Let's talk about this thing in detail.
As everyone of us get sick or get some diseases no cares even if you are rich or poor. Everyone get's low as they are human, and it's the responsibility of doctor to cure the people with the best treatment. But the question comes about the money, as doctors are also doing their job to earn the money, the more skilled doctor there charges and operation costs go more high. But when a poor guy needs some specialist doctor they even ask them their high fees, okay no problem their work is to earn money and save people.
But they should also understand the poor people's problem. Not only in the present time but also in the past time we have always seen how money matters the most to people, let it be a doctor or a normal human being values money more than anything. There are many hospitals that would refuse to do emergency treatment when patients can not afford to pay. Most of the patients belong to middle class family or street and whenever I see such situations, I have never felt good at all. Because it always felt unfair.
Like, shouldn't human life matter more than a piece of paper? Doctors take an oath to save lives, then why they only save lives if the patient is able to pay. That means to them money is more important than a human life. For that reason they can neglect a person who has no money, because for the hospital, life of the poor people are valuless. They don't think that poor people's life is as valuable as a rich person’s life.
Well, I do know that a hospital can not be run properly without money, like they would need money for everything such as medicines, medical equipment and the doctors and nurses, as they need salary because they are the only breadwinner of their family. So, yeah, if they don't have money, they can't continue the services of a hospital. I feel the problem is in the healthcare system, which depends heavily on business and profit. Therefore, I won't blame the doctors only.
