Hello everyone your welcome to my blog today
As a young child of my family, I think giving an allowance is something many families should consider about. Because I personally think that it's a good idea but only if it is being handled in a right way. As we all know children already are having their basic needs such as clothes, foods or education expenses, even living under their parents’ roof, so basically everything is already covered.
But it's the responsibility of a parent because they choose to become one and the child didn't get to choose if he wants to come into this world. Anyway, apart from that I feel at least a small amount of money should be given to the children so that they can learn important life skills.
I am still young and not a parent yet, but from my point of view I don't think of allowance as an “extra money” because I see it as a learning tool. Like when I was a kid I barely knew what money was and I didn't recognise the worth of money. So, if a fixed amount of money is regularly given to a child, they will slowly understand the value of money.
the decision of right or wrong is left to their parents because look, if you come to know that your children are misusing it and spending it on such things where they should not, then it is wrong in a way and you should stop them and pay attention to your children. If you feel that your child is doing some good things and from which he is getting benefit, then you should not stop him and should cooperate with him and if possible, you should help him also. There are many children who save their money and serve it and when the family members need financial help, they support them as much as they can. Everyone has a different perspective or a different way of spending money or saving it.
I believe giving your kids allowances helps them to be financially responsible. No matter how small it may be, give it to them and start training them on how to manage their finances. Charity they say begins at home. You don’t have to wait until they’re twenty before you start teaching them about money. It needs to start at an early age- make it a part of them even before they come into contact with huge sums of money because money is a necessary evil which can cause harm and do good also depending on how it is being used.
Our world is all about money today. You don’t want your kids to be in a position where they struggle with their finances. Teach them the strings now and watch them build a life of financial freedom.
Since parents are already providing for their children, clothing them, feeding them, paying their fees, and giving them shelter and a comfortable home, that should be enough at their tender age. Introducing allowance too early may not be appropriate or rewarding.
However, I suggest that children should be encouraged to learn useful skills, such as how to use a computer system to ask questions and gain knowledge, rather than focusing on earning an allowance, which may overwhelm them at a young age.
Exposing children to allowance too early may not teach them its true value. They may not understand that earning money requires effort and hard work.
Thank you for stopping by my blog.
