Taxes: A Burden or a Civic Duty?

Well, wherever we live, we pay tax in some form or the other, whether it is house tax rode tax or income tax and there are many other ways in which we pay tax, whether we buy any goods or do anything, knowingly or unknowingly we pay tax. If you have a job and your income is good, then you have to pay a huge amount of tax. Yes, there are many ways through which you can get tax exemption and people definitely do this, we just have to show our money at different places so that they can get tax exemption. Many people can do this and many are not able to do this and the way they can do it, they save a lot of money and those who are not able to do this, they pay their money in income tax. Anyway, in whichever country we live in, we have to pay tax, in whatever form it is, if you are paying tax.

Yes, there are many governments, even if they take taxes, they do not use the money as they should. We have often seen that wherever we live, the situation is very serious or the work is bad. Yes, there are many countries where very good arrangements are made for the welfare of the people, but not everyone is so rich that they get all the facilities here. Many people pay a lot of income tax but they do not get the benefits of their accounts. Many governments are corrupt and do not use the citizens' taxes properly. If you search, you will see which countries do this and it is extremely illegal, but who can do anything against the government, due to this they take the wrong advantage of this and we the public have to pay for it.

But we have often seen that rich people adopt different methods due to which they do not have to pay tax because you pay tax on your income and the rich people do not take any income at all, they take shares of the company on which they do not have to pay any tax and also take a loan on that basis and we have seen this often. You must have also heard a lot about this, but in small companies, you have to pay tax because there you do not get shares of the company, instead you get a salary and according to the salary, you have to pay tax. If you come under the tax slab, then you will have to pay tax.

If you do not do this, then you are doing illegal work. Many people do a lot of things to save tax they don't accept online payments or don't take direct payments in the bank, they work in cash and by doing this they are saved because it is very difficult to keep track of physical cash, so most of the deals are done in cash and in this way also they save a lot of money but in a way they are cheating the government, we have seen many such cases when people are caught and they have crores of rupees and most of the money is black money. Black money can be called that which is earned without paying tax, if you pay tax and follow all the rules of the government then your money is white which you can spend anywhere legally, yes many businesses operate that convert black money into white money and in this way they also get a lot of profit.

Well, I believe that we all should pay tax and without stealing from it because by doing this we are taking our country forward and we also have the right to know about the tax that we pay, where it is being spent and how much money is being spent and the government should also tell people about this thing in a very fair and complete manner that where it is spending money and how much money is being invested where, by doing this people will also be satisfied and people will probably not have any problem in paying tax, if you get convenience by giving something then probably you will pay it happily next time, suppose if you are paying road tax or toll tax and you are not getting the opportunity to drive on good roads then probably you will also get angry but on the other hand if you are getting good roads and you are also enjoying travelling then probably you will also pay the tax happily.

Yes, we have seen that rich people adopt many such methods by which they avoid paying tax because their profit is very huge and if they pay such a huge amount of tax then probably they will have to pay a lot of tax. So, for this reason, they use regular techniques through different schemes because of which they avoid paying tax and this has probably been going on for years. I don't know if there will be any improvement in this in the coming years or not but if it happens then it will be very beneficial for the government and the common citizen because the tax coming from the big companies will also be very huge and if the government wants, it can use it for many good things.
