Hello everyone, how are you all doing today? It is the middle of the week and it is going smoothly. As we go forth into our work each day we should endeavor to give it our best for the maximum result.
Anyway, I would love to talk to us today about an aspect of our bodies many of us fail to consider on a daily basis. And this is bad as proper following of this could lead to the prevention of so many health issues.
And so, I begin by asking; when was the last time you went for a medical checkup?
In this day and age, with the constant evolution of technology, every day we step out of our house to go about our business and concern, we come into a lot of unhealthy substances. This could be in the air, on the ground, in the water, anywhere at all. And some of these substances can be found in our workplace, at home, in places of worship.
The effects of these things might not be felt immediately, it could be years later when it has accumulated in the body and become something else entirely. Then you would realize that early detection would have saved a lot of money and emotional trauma that comes with falling ill.
We all know that in solving major diseases, early detection is always key. Many of us usually wait until we fall sick before we go to visit the doctor, by which time the situation might be in its worst case. That is not how it is meant to be done.
Whether you feel ill or not, you are supposed to go for a regular checkup at the hospital. Have the run tests on you to make sure that you are fit and okay. If there is any discrepancy in your body it will be discovered on time and treatment will be dished out immediately, preventing what could have led to tragedy.
It is sad to see that some people even when their bodies keep giving them signs and symptoms, they ignore it. They will be working with severe headaches and body pains, feeling sick, and just pumping themselves full of drugs that do not do much to alleviate their situation. Until the body eventually can no longer fight the disease.
It is usually at this time that they are rushed to the hospital and usually have to be admitted. This can be avoided. Or at least, reduced to the barest minimum.
So, my dear friends, I ask again; when was the last time you went for a medical checkup? Please if you have not gone for one in recent times, do so as soon as possible so you can know your status. There is no peace of mind greater than knowing that you are healthy inside and out.
Life is a gift from God, but it is up to us to take good care of the gift.
Thank you very much for reading, till we meet in the next post.
