Some things should never be legalised, simply because people will exploit them the moment they get the chance.
One of those things is the Organ market, and I honestly love that it remains illegal in most countries. But some people still find ways around the law and trade organs on the black market.
Sadly, many of the people behind this trade are kidnappers and organ harvesters who profit from the suffering and organs of their victims, and it makes the world a far more dangerous place.
In my country, people often link every kidnapping or missing person case to rituals, but rituals seem more like a myth. The reality is that many of these missing or kidnapped people are victims of organ harvesters. Because tell me why a whole bus full of passengers would go missing, and none of them are ever seen again. The gods don't drink that much blood, so it is more likely the work of organ harvesters.
People who engage in this kind of evil deserve capital punishment.
Now, when the situation is reversed, and it is people wanting to trade their own organs to make ends meet or pursue their dreams, should it still be illegal?
As much as it may look good for people to change their lives by selling their own organs, it's still better that it remains illegal because people would definitely exploit it.
Many ignorant people could easily be tricked into selling their organs for a low price, simply because they don't know the real worth, and in the end, the amount they get may not be enough to take care of their health after losing their organ.
Pressure
Some people can be easily pressurised into selling their organs, and a good example is the relationship between a Nigerian guy and a lady... The lady could easily pressure him to sell a kidney so they can enjoy life together, and if the boy is blindly in love, he might go along with it.
Others might go as far as selling an organ to lift their family out of hardship or to support a loved one.
We can assume that within the first 1 year of legalising organ trade, 20 per cent of the people in the world will be walking around with only 1 kidney due to how many people will sell theirs either willingly, pressured or tricked.
So it is never right to be able to trade one's organs cos in the end, many people will abuse the privilege, and it will result in having more unhealthy people in the world due to the mass selling of organs to survive.
Imagine how many people living on the street will be ready to jump on the offer just for them to change their story.
