Celebrities earn a lot of money for their acting skill and their work in shows, movies, etc. Also, they get paid a huge amount for Product promotion (advertisement). Actors get a high level of name recognition, fame, and fan following. Some people believe that actors get much higher salaries than what they should get. At the same time, some people believe that they deserve what they got from their work.
In my opinion, it's fair that celebrities make so much money. Because people value the entertainment that celebrities provide. Fans literally wait months or years for the show or movie. Entertainment is part of our lives and we can't live without it. The entertainment industry involves a lot of money. Celebrities are the ones who are most important for any show or movie. Because they have lot of responsibility to make show hit. Hence, they got a lot of money for their work. The expenses of celebrities are much higher than normal people. Because they need to look good every time for that they need to purchase branded clothes, shoes, watches, smartphones, etc. Their expenses are a lot higher than normal people's.
It's absolutely true that celebrities make more money than Doctors and Teachers. If we compare their salary and work, then we can see that Doctors and Teachers are doing great work and not getting paid as much as Celebrities get. Also, they do not get name recognition or fame as Celebrities get. But, at the same time, we can not compare them. Because Celebrities have a different life than Teachers and Doctors. Celebrities spend a lot of money on their look and physic. Also, they live a much different lifestyle than normal people.
Also, Celebrities might face a difficult situation because of controversies. There is always some risk with their career. Some negative situations might lead to the downfall of their career. It will become difficult for them to handle such a situation and might go into depression. So they must have to earn as much as they can.
Fame is very important for any celebrity. Celebrities with the highest fan following can get a lot of money for shows, advertisements, etc. Successful celebrities can earn so much money that they might not use all the money they earned so far in their entire lifetime.
Celebrities get a lot of appreciation when a movie or show becomes a hit. People like them a lot for their acting skills. Sometimes celebrities might face bad times when people might criticize their work. So they have to go through all the situations.
I personally believe that Teachers, Doctors, and Engineers should get a proper salary. Because I think Engineers are not getting paid well for their work and for some reason, they can't leave the job. So, companies should understand and give a good salary to them. Because companies earn money only because of their employee and they should respect them and give good salaries.
In the end, I would say that we should do what we want to do in the process of getting success. Everyone has their own passion and not everyone can follow their passion. But at least we can try.
