Everybody loves to look good as 'looking good is good business' but, our styles are quite different as our tastes differ. But that notwithstanding, we all have a sense of fashion or atleast, some of us do.
For me, fashion sense is simply knowing what works for your body type, what's suits your body complexion, what is appropriate for the weather and what is perfect for the occasion.
It is wearing what you are comfortable in, can accurately mix-and-match and will effortlessly slay on.
A good fashion sense affords you elegance and confidence without you trying to do too much.
For someone like me who belongs to the class of people that buy and store clothes away because I barely leave the house, I still like to make a statement with whatever piece I might be putting on at anytime because a good fashion sense is based on your everyday look.
The kinds of clothes I wear
The simple things like a shirt thrown over a skirt or pants, a simple gown or joggers on a polo-shirt do it for me, maybe with basic jewelry or not. I love me my basic statement pieces so i wear lots of neutral colored clothes(black, white, cream, grey) and monochrome attires as I find them very classy. Also, silk wares are important piece in my wardrobe.
Clothes I'll never wear
It's impossible that you'll ever find me wearing cycle shorts, too tight clothing, ripped jeans, sparkly attires, transparent clothes with visible undergarments or even trendy wears(bags, shoes, whatever! If you find me in a room full of people wearing the in-vogue attires, be sure I'll be the odd one out). They're quite repulsive to me. I don't think I've ever own any. They're a turn off.
Clothes I'll love to wear.
Well, one piece of clothing I would love to try out soon are slacks(office pants). I like that they're versatile and can be worn for almost any occasion depending on how you style them. The reason I haven't gotten any is because, I'll like to purchase the material myself and give to a tailor to make it tailored to my frame. There are a few others but this is the one I can't wait to try.
I like to centre my fashion around myself, knowing the right colors that suit my skin type, the accessories that go with what, even the footwears, bags, hairstyle, down to the fragrance that will embody the choice of clothing.
My fashion pieces are better seen than explained. But best believe they give off a reserved, classy and bold look.
