without a child or children will be pointed at as a cursed one,every couple begins to question God when they couldn't have their kids. Overpopulation is one factor affecting Nigeria as a whole . Yes, Nigeria is not the most populated country but then provisions for the citizens is far way lesser than the population. Our economy but not something to boast of which makes over population a threat. As many has we have resources in Nigeria,it is not well manage for the citizens to enjoy.
During the olds days in the life of our grandparents,they are nut worried about having kids infact if their wife tells them they aren't giving birth again, they will get another woman to marry and give them children. Life was so easy back then. This is because they only fend for what to eat then and nothing more. Having to pay electricity bills, high house rent and school fees are in no existence then.

Everything keep improving, innovation keeps setting in and it is for the benefits of the so it can be necessary notables among others, and nit be left behind . A lot of innovative came into existence and becomes culmpolulsory day after day in which all involves money to be engaged and acquire.In this era that bills are many , everything is more expensive in hundreds fold whereas there are things that are important one must do. So, to give quality and good life a kid Should have, we have to minimize the numbers of children we give birth to.
What can Government do to help with the act of having to minimize number of child birth?
I came across a man some months back, he was chatting with his friend and make a statement,he said and I quote " why will I use condom (CD) when I paid a woman dowry ? I can never " I was so amazed that people with this level of ignorance still exists? If there should be one person that thinks like that, then there will be more. So, I think there should be more enlightenment to the public about the risk they put their family future with the mindset that CD are only for singles.
The second idea I will talk about is family planning. This is one thing in Nigeria I dislike ,it is about money. Must everything be paid for? ,can't there be a benefit we enjoy without having to pay? The government approved hospital to administer family planning to citizens that needs it. My take on this is, if the family planning is cheap ,I think it will motivate more people to come for it and try it out. The thought of going through hospital stress should be enough, not adding how to get money. Many are Been given drug lists to buy after the plantation of the family planning, that's another additional money, some does this planning and they complain of many side effects that is life threatening and went to remove it, it was said that there are different types for different body system. When they pay for the first time, pass through stress, do you think to go the second time will be easy? But I think if it is free, the stress itself will be overlooked,their thought will be , at least it's free,let's me try another type.
Overpopulation is really affecting our economy in Nigeria, thought it isn't the only factor but it is part of it , I hope the government can help out in making this act of minimizing child birth works.
