Hello hello people, I'm so glad to be participating on the third task of the newbiesinitiative, the name remains chidistickz and today 🙋i'w be taking through what I call a rescue mission, you can also call it a recovery mission, the mission is amied at recovering a lost give account, so let's get to it.
First of all let me introduce you to 
Smartjerry is a guy forged and fabricated by me indoer use as sample in all I will talk about so practically he dose not exist on the hive blogchain and this is not to redicle anybody on the hive blogchain.
Smartjerry is a music lover with great aspiration to learn every musical instrument he lays his hands on so he is more of a multi-talented guy and with all this great talent he has mad efforts to invest in the hive blogchain by participating in different music communities.
Smartjerry is also a good content creator and he has a great writing skill, he has also participated in different written communities and has used his writing skill to educate other hiveans in different areas of life.
What went wrong
Smartjerry received a comment on one of his post and on the comment was a phishing link with a discription asking him for support on their project, he clicked it not knowing it was a scam, after realizing he was scammed......
What Next...
This is where a trustee comes in, the trustee here is not a person but an account that is attached to your own account while it was created, the purpose of attaching a trustee to your account is to aid you In the case of losing your account to a hacker, the trustee will be used to recover your account so it can also be refered to as a recovery account.

Steps to take in other to recover a hacked or lost account
There are five 5 steps to follow in oder to recover a lost account
Step1: for this step there is a link to follow👇

It could be used in any browser such as keychain browser and others
Step2
After clicking on the link it would take you a site responsible for hive account recovery, sample is below 👇
Then click on recover account
Step 3:
In this step a new password is been initiated in order to get a new public key so all instructions must be followed
Step 4:
At this stage the new public key initiated will be sent to the trustee of that account
Step 5
At this final stage all the necessary information required will be filled in and then click on recover account
After taking this steps it would take over 30 days for the account to be recorded.
What Coursed it
As mentioned above,
Sometimes we could past our keys on community's post as promt participation with the intention of pasting the link of the post, this might be caused by mistakes such as trying to boaat your post via points like ecency's and then forgetting to copy the post link.
Lost of account can also happene when the device our keys saved on is hacked or when the device been used is hacked.
