Good day, amazing people of the hive block chain. Welcome back to my blog. This is another exciting week in the #hivelearners community.
Christmas is a season we long for, a season we share love and merry. This is my best season. This is the only season that gives me joy.
Every Christmas, I have plans for how I will spend the celebration, so therefore, this year will not be different. I have been planning for this season since the first week of December.
I will be spending Christmas in my hometown. It has been a long time since I traveled to my hometown. Stay tuned as I tell you how I have planned my Christmas.
On the 22nd of December, I will be stopping work for the year so that I can pack my luggage since I am traveling to the village.
On the 23rd, I will go to the market to buy foodstuffs, provisions, and wrappers thatI will take to the village.
On the 24th, I will travel to my hometown to be with my loved ones.
On the 25th, after service, I will enter the kitchen. My whole day will be spent in the kitchen because it is a day of cooking and serving. People will be visiting us at home, both friends and relatives. This particular day is the day I show love to the less privileged. I visit the motherless home and prison to show them love. I always want them to feel loved on that day.
The 26th is Boxing Day. This particular day is the day I will give some food to the widows in my hometown. I don’t have much, but I will give them what I have.
From the 27th to the 29th is my school reunion, so I will be spending time with the old boys and girls. It will really be fun. We have a lot of catch-up to do. I have missed them. It has been up to three years since I last saw them. I just wait to see them. There are a lot of activities, according to our senior prefect, including going to the beach and also visiting my school to see how far they are doing.
On the 30th, I will be going to my best friend's wedding. I will not miss the wedding for anything, so the 30th is for my baby girl.
On January 31st, I will visit some relatives and go to my village market to buy things I will cook.
On January 1, I will take my niece and nephew out for them to also share in the love of the season; they will not be left out.
On the 2nd of January, we have our masquerade display. It is always a day I look forward to as a really African woman. I don’t joke with culture. I will take part in this celebration. My Christmas will not be complete if I don't partake in the masquerade my Christmas will not be complete
On the 3rd, I will travel back to town and start work.
This is how I plan my Christmas. I will be keeping you all posted on every event I attend.
