Good day, amazing people of the Hive blockchain. Welcome back to my blog. It is another edition in the #hivelearners community. I am so delighted to participate in this week's prompt, AI VS HUMANS.
Artificial intelligence is a tool established by man to make life easy for them. Artificial intelligence is a blessing to my generation; almost everyone makes use of AI both in organisations and school. It has really made life easy for us; we no longer struggle to gather information or do research. I will not lie, AI brought knowledge closer to us; I don't have to stress myself searching for information. All I need to do is to write down the question in the search bar, and the answer will be generated for me.
Since the development of this AI, there has been a lot of controversy that AI is smarter than man. This looks like an insult to humans; I don’t see any reason why humans should be compared with AI. I believe the reason why people think that AI is smarter than humans is because it is highly efficient and can do a lot of things at the same time, unlike humans.
It is really not nice about this debate of artificial intelligence being smarter than humans. Whenever I come across such a debate, I am always angry because I see no reason why the two should be compared. This so-called AI that we see as the smartest came into existence by humans. Without humans, there is nothing like artificial intelligence that works and functions because they are being programmed by humans. I see it as an error when people say AI is smarter than humans. Believe me or not, without humans, there is no AI. It is very bad to say that a device developed by humans is smarter than the creator. There are still times you will ask artificial intelligence, and it will not be able to answer you. Why? Because they didn’t program that particular command for them. All I need to do is to answer the question myself.
Artificial intelligence is a machine that functions based on the program installed in it. If, by mistake, anything interrupts the command, it will crash. How then is it smarter than humans? In case we forget, before the existence of AI, humans had been solving complex questions. So if humans develop an assistant that will help them, that doesn't mean that humans are not smarter again. Artificial intelligence has its own place, as does humanity. The sweet truth is no matter how artificial intelligence can be, it can never compare to man.
I see it as an insult when people keep saying that artificial intelligence is smarter than humans. Man develops AI to enhance work and also to help reduce stress for man. Artificial intelligence can never be smarter than humans.
