The last month of the year, this is the moment everything usually feels slower, softer, and a little more meaningful. December always comes with its kind of silence, the kind that invites one to look back at the months behind and gently whisper to themselves, We made it“. As 2025 rolls to a close, it's natural to ask ourselves, what were the highlights? What did I achieve? What did this year really teach me? For me, the biggest highlight of this year is simply the gift of life. I may not have achieved every plan I wrote down this year, but I'm alive. I am standing and growing, and that alone is a blessing I refuse to overlook. My life this year didn't go as planned, but I have to be strong and push myself forward in ways I didn't expect.
One major achievement that I am genuinely proud of is the step I took in pursuing a career path in tech. It wasn't easy; it took courage, resilience, learning, unlearning, and late nights. There were moments I doubted myself if I could continue because of stress from work and other things, but I had this kind of determination that comes from wanting a better future. Even though I haven't reached every goal on my list yet. Starting this journey is a powerful achievement on its own. It indicates that I am evolving, that I believe in myself enough to step into unfamiliar territory, and that I am building something meaningful for my future.
I know that the world does measure achievements in big, flashy ways: promotion, money, awards, or grand announcements. But most real achievements are often quiet. They happen within us, in our persistence, our courage to thrive again, our willingness to reinvent ourselves, and my ability to survive seasons that almost broke me. This year, I may not have everything I wished for, but I gained knowledge and wisdom.
As we step into this final month, I am taking my time to appreciate my journey, the lessons I have learned so far, and my moments of joy and wins. Those setbacks pushed me to grow, people who stayed back to always cheer me, opportunities that came, and even doors that I never expected to close because each of my encounters shaped me in some way.
Looking forward, I welcome the rest of this year with hope. December is a month of reflection, but it is also a month of preparation. I may not know what the future holds, but I am hopeful. I am grateful. And I am ready. Ready for better days, new breakthroughs, clearer direction, and more peace. Ready to continue the journey I’ve started in tech. Ready to become the person I am growing into.
Going forward, I welcome the rest of the week, days with hope. To me, December is a month for reflection on things we planned and how far we have gone, and to restrategize to welcome the new year. Although I don't know what the future holds for me, I am ready, hopeful for a new breakthrough, learner direction, and more peace. I will still continue my journey in tech. Yes, the month is coming to an end, but it doesn't mean my progress is finished; it means it's just getting better.
