Terrorism has become a norm in certain parts of my country, Nigeria. The vandalisation of pipe lines, insurgencies by the boko haram set and many others has become an issue of concern in the country. Despite this, there are some parts of the country that is said to be peaceful and worths visiting for tourism. Among these are:
Ibeno Beach. This beach is one of the most fascinating beaches in Nigeria, situated at Akwa Ibom state. It is also known to be a tourist attraction many individuals from diverse parts of the world at large. It also have an hotel nearby for those wishing to lodge for as long as they wants.
Olumo Rock: This rock is another tourist attraction located at the south western part of Nigeria. Any visit to Abeokuta without visiting this area will be totally incomplete. The Egba people are the group of people predominated in such region of the country. Olumo rock is worth visiting for tourism. So never hesitate to visit there when you come visiting
Other areas known to be peaceful as tourist attraction include Eleko beach at lagos, Osun sacred grove, Takwa Bay beach at lagos state, Agodi gardens at Oyo state, New African Shrine at lagos state amongs others within the south east, south west and south-south region of Nigeria. The northern region of Nigeria is not advisable for visitation at the moment due to issues of insurgencies e.g the dreaded Boko Haram group insurgencies and fulani herdsmen which has clanned most strategic areas of the north mainly tourist attractions.
