It was New Year's Eve, and I was feeling excited. I had big plans for the night: a fancy dinner followed by a party with my friends. But as the clock ticked closer to midnight, I started to feel nervous. would everything go according to plan?
As it turned out, the evening was even better than I could have imagined. The dinner was delicious and the company was great. We laughed and talked all night, and when the clock struck midnight, we cheered and hugged each other.
It was the last night of a wonderful year, and we were all feeling festive. The party was in full swing, with music and laughter filling the air. We all had a great time, and it felt like the perfect way to end such a happy year.
But then something happened that made the night even more special. One of our friends proposed to his girlfriend right in the middle of the party! It was such a romantic gesture, and everyone was cheering and congratulating them. It was a truly joyful moment, and one that we'll all remember for many years to come.
So what made that New Year's Eve so special? Maybe it was because it was a night of both joy and celebration, or maybe it was because it marked the beginning of a beautiful new chapter in our friend's life. Whatever the reason, it's a night that we'll always treasure.
As another year closed, it's time to reflect on the past twelve months and all that has happened. This past year was full of ups and downs, but overall it was a year of growth and exploration.
I'm grateful for all the new friends I've made, for hive, ecency and dreemport, and for all the wonderful experiences I've had outside and here. From attending my street comic-con festival to going on an epic road trip to Netherlands, the past year has been full of adventure.
I'm also proud of all the personal challenges I've overcome, like getting facing my anxiety head-on, finishing new book and bringing a smile back to so many people. These accomplishments have made me feel more confident and capable than ever before.
As I look ahead to 2023, I'm feeling hopeful and excited for what's to come. I know there will be more challenges, but I'm ready to face them with courage and grace. My wish for Hive Blockchain and Ecency is - let it grow, along with the hope that the platform gave to humanity, that there is a place for everyone, no matter how strange you are.

Let our children not grow up in a terrible world. Together we can make it better. It is our destiny to
suffer from the past, to long for the future, but to forget the present.
