The 39th week was very exciting, various interesting titles were available in that week to be discussed and many participants always took part in the contest by presenting their best writings for the 39th week of the contest. It's a shame that the 39th week full of fun has ended and this time we are at a new week, namely the 40th week, where this week we have been waiting for various interesting topics to discuss and various other excitements. And as usual, we will start with the first edition to the last edition, so this time I will also start with the first edition in week 40 with the theme of discussing Secondary Income. This discussion is certainly very interesting to discuss, and what's more, many of us sometimes have side income, and some people actually want it. Therefore, I will also discuss a little about this in my post, so let's check this out.
As human beings who have many needs, we cannot be separated from consumption, both to meet basic and secondary needs. As we know, various products as well as basic needs are getting more expensive over time and this makes us experience a monthly budget deficit, where previously our monthly money was enough to buy some necessities and we could save the rest, whereas this time it is monthly money it is sometimes not enough even for our standard needs. This of course makes the problem complicated for those who of course have a mediocre income where everything they have to calculate and make enough of it, but for those who have an income that only needs half of their income for monthly needs, this will be fine as long as they still have money left at the end of the month.
There are several things that influence a person to seek side income, this is not always due to the small amount of monthly income received. It could also be that someone chooses to find a side income because he needs capital for his main income, such as trading or something like that. Side income is also sometimes intended as a funding recovery effort if suddenly their main income has problems in the financial sector, and there are also some people who choose to find a side job so they can save their side income while the results of their main income are consumed for daily needs, and I'm one of them.
I myself am a person who also likes to save from my side income, while the results of my main income I consume for primary and secondary needs. Talking about my side income, of course not too much either, this also doesn't make me reap a lot of results from there, what I rely on from my side job is the results I will save, which in the future these savings will help a lot. I've been doing a few side jobs which are all online, and Hive is one of them. I worked on some online blogging which is also almost the same as Hive some time ago and tried to run both of them simultaneously. Unexpectedly, it turned out that I couldn't do it because I didn't have much time to make a lot of content, so I chose the one that I was passionate about, namely Hive. However, there are several other online media that I also work on to fill my free time and increase my savings.
Apart from blogging, I also work in other online media as a side job, such as graphic design and photography. Of course this is just the beginning and I just tried it a while ago. I've also worked on several Photography media and displayed my work there, and I created several accounts for that so I can collect a lot of results. However, this is impossible to do and I only focus on one account. Media photography like that really suits my hobby, but the demand for good content or shots makes me have to give up a lot of time for it and this is a bit of a hassle.
Currently I am also looking for several other side jobs with my diploma. As you know, there are a lot of problems with this, a lot of business to be done and a lot of tests to be run. But it's really important to me right now, which is that working in the part I want is a good choice and makes work fun, just like having a hobby that pays off. Maybe in comparison, getting some money from a normal job is much more difficult than doing some work on social media and becoming a freelancer for some graphic design or blogging like Hive. But, I stick with my stance, in which the main purpose of a side job for me is to increase my savings so that I have a reserve of money for emergencies. Therefore I don't really focus on one type of work, but I will choose to find a job that can fill my spare time and doesn't spend a lot of capital to run it.
It cannot be denied, that a side job that is relaxed, earns lots of money, and is not stressful is the dream of many people, of course. Therefore, we can see now that online media and social media are a promising business field, but only as a side income where money from work can be saved. Jobs like this are specifically for those who really want to supplement their income in an easy and fun way. I also feel the same way, where I'm more comfortable working as a graphic designer and blogging like Hive as a job to increase my side income, where here I don't have to bother to wear a neat uniform and be in a hurry, I just need to sit back after work and create interesting content according to my imagination here. Freedom is everything, and places like Hive can also be a promising investment area and really help our financial situation in the future.
