Week 07 went very exciting and very well. Many of them have awarded the best post in the previous contest and also many participants who took part in the contest the 7th week ago. And this time we will start the 8th week which I think is more exciting than the 7th week. I think more participants will take part in this one contest.
As previously announced, the first issue for the 8th week starts today, therefore, I will post the first issue of the contestant in this 8th week. In this post I will tell you about the biggest pollution in my area, as you know, Pollution is something that is very dangerous and can be caused by many things. Likewise in my place, pollution is also very rampant and this is a separate discussion that I will discuss in this contest post. So please read carefully.
Talking about pollution is endless. This one thing is indeed a terrible thing and has a very bad impact on nature. Pollution is an environmental pollution on a large scale that causes damage to the environment. Pollution can be caused by many things, and generally pollution is caused by chemicals that are spread into the air, or intentionally by some parties spreading them into the air, waters such as rivers, or land. Any form of pollution is very dangerous for the environment and the survival of humans themselves, because of that, a form of damage with chemicals or the like is called Pollution.
Pollution itself has long occurred in the world, as the industrial sector develops and the number of vehicles, the more sources of pollution are generated. Experts have also been looking for ways to reduce this pollution and for some reason the results are always to no avail. In the 21st century, many companies have tried to minimize the impact of pollution with many of their latest breakthroughs, one example of which is electric vehicles which are currently being produced and are intended to replace vehicles with fuel oil in the future so that one of the sources of pollution, namely from vehicle fumes can be reduced.
In my country of Indonesia, and especially where I live today, vehicle fumes are a major contributor to air pollution. With the number of highways and vehicles passing by, the smoke from the vehicle is also very rampant. Diesel-powered vehicles and diesel-fueled vehicles make air pollution worse because diesel-fueled vehicles emit black smoke from their exhaust and this is very dangerous. According to several articles on the internet, smoke from vehicles is a very dangerous pollution even more so than a passive smoker. What's more, we as road users drive vehicles every day and are always exposed to pollution from vehicles on the highway, all of which come from vehicle exhaust fumes.
Fortunately, there are not many factories operating in my area, even though the factories operating in my area still contribute quite a lot of pollution with smoke from their chimneys. Incidentally the factory that operates in my place is a palm oil processing factory which of course they do the combustion process in their factory and the black smoke from the burning comes out of a long chimney that rises into the air.
Forest burning that often occurs in Indonesia is also a very severe air pollution. The forest fires that occurred on the island of Sumatra several years ago also had a very severe effect on the environment, even the smoke from the burning reached Malaysia, and it caused smog in both countries for several weeks.
In my opinion burning garbage in front of the house which is usually done by Indonesian people and in my place is also a form of air pollution, only in this case it is still on a small scale and the smoke generated cannot reach the ozone layer and is only a few meters from the ground. source of combustion. However, if many people do it simultaneously, then it can also become pollution and the same is the case with the forest fires that occurred in Indonesia a few years ago.
It is undeniable that smoke pollution is the most common pollution in the world. Starting from vehicle exhaust fumes, forest fires, factory exhaust fumes, or the like. In essence, anything that causes exhaust fumes and can pollute the air is considered pollution.
For water and soil pollution, the government strictly prohibits it and stops the source of the pollution as much as possible, we can also see every company that is in the field of chemicals and other hazardous substances conducting an Environmental Impact Analysis in their company every year, data from this analysis will be seen by the government and will follow up the operating process of the company. However, pollution into waters such as seas and rivers is strictly prohibited because these water systems are very important for the ecosystem and considering the many animals and plants there are also very important for human survival. Therefore, some companies have paid attention to this and some of them dump their waste into the ground, and however, in the long term, the soil polluted by the waste pollution will also have an impact on human life.
Pollution is inevitable, and every activity will have an impact on the environment. The government's role in this matter is very important, and the use of adequate equipment to reduce it is very necessary. Pollution itself will indeed continue to occur in the next few decades as long as humans are still dependent on fossil fuels and all they can do is reduce it.
This is what I can convey in this post, hopefully it will be useful and see you in the next contest post.
Special thanks :
