The contest this time was very exciting in every edition. Each edition more and more participants enter the contest, and that is very good. This time it's time for the 2nd edition to run and therefore, I'll also be posting my 2nd edition of the contest this week 8th.
As previously announced that in this 2nd edition I am required to discuss the tourist destinations in my place and the number of tourists in these tourist destinations. If you want to know, let's take a good look.
The first is the island of Sabang which is at the western tip of the island of Sumatra in Indonesia. For you lovers of a beautiful and peaceful beach atmosphere, Sabang Island is the right place for you to go. This island is not too big and relatively small and you have to cross with a transport ship to cross this island from the port of Ulee Lheu in Banda Aceh. It takes about a few hours to get to the island of Sabang. On the island of Sabang there is no high land and the atmosphere there is not too crowded like big cities in Indonesia, of course it is very suitable for those of you who really like peace.
Sabang Island is also known as Kilometer 0 because this island is at position 0⁰ from the astronomical line throughout Indonesia.

Furthermore, there is the Pantan Eggplant tourist spot in Central Aceh Province, Aceh, Indonesia. This one place is a highland located in the province of Aceh, Indonesia. I have visited this place several times and it never bores me.

The view offered from up here is no less good. You can see the city of Tekengon, which is the capital city of Central Aceh Province very beautifully, plus the stretch of Laut Tawar which is behind the city as if to complete the natural beauty in this area. However, to get to this area, you have to cross a steep hilly road, but now this road is very neat than before, although it is still a bit steep and winding, because wherever you are, the road to the steep hills must be winding. The only thing that I enjoy most about this area is the cold weather, even though the weather is sunny. Many views that can be enjoyed from various sides, and very beautiful places to visit.
For those of you who want to visit the province of Aceh, you must visit this one place. In addition to being a place of worship for Muslims in Aceh, this place has also become an icon of the province of Aceh. This place is located in the capital of the province of Aceh, namely in Banda Aceh which is in the middle of the city of Banda Aceh. This mosque is also increasingly being expanded over time and this makes this mosque even more majestic and looks wider than before so for those who want to pray in this mosque, they can do it around the mosque because of its size. This mosque can also accommodate many people and of course this mosque will be able to accommodate people who want to pray even though almost all of Banda Aceh come.
Furthermore, there is the Tsunami museum located in the capital of Aceh Province, namely Banda Aceh. This museum is a building designed to commemorate the tragedy of the Tsunami disaster that occurred 18 years ago and claimed the lives of more than 1000 people. The disaster occurred in the Indian Ocean which also affected several countries such as Sri Lanka, Thailand, Bangladesh, and other neighboring countries including Indonesia, especially in the province of Aceh on the island of Sumatra. The disaster managed to ravage the capital of the province of Aceh and leave a lot of sadness, and to commemorate it, this museum was built. Inside the Museum is also engraved the name of each Tsunami victim who has been identified and the engraved names fill one of the walls in this Museum. For those who visit it, they will be able to feel the atmosphere when the incident took place and it is also very important for future generations to know that such an incident has happened.
Actually, speaking throughout Indonesia, there are many other very popular tourist attractions and you must have visited or known them on the internet, but this time I will only discuss tourist destinations in my area. And tourists will visit these places when they visit my area. For the highest number of visits, Sabang Island is already very famous for its coastal and marine tourism spots which are very popular with tourists, this place is also never deserted by tourists and is very popular for those who like beach tourism. For the Aceh area itself, there are not too many beach tours, because the best known here are mountain and high land tours which are quite a lot.
The islands of Java and Bali are places that have many beach attractions and you definitely know about it. And Bali is a tourist place that is very well known throughout the world.
For those of us who are in Sumatra, the most popular among tourists are rainforests, mountains, and highlands because geographically, the island of Sumatra is dominated by many highlands such as those in Aceh, Padang, and southern and northern Sumatra.
Every year the increase in tourism in Indonesia is very good and increasing, the number of tourists in Indonesia had decreased when the Covid-19 outbreak hit Indonesia, but now things are starting to improve and tourists are coming back in large numbers. Indonesia is a country with many tourist destinations, which are very popular with local and foreign tourists. Therefore, the tourism aspect is the main focus of the Indonesian government.
