Unspoken deception is simply, deliberately omitting either useful or not useful information that would change someone’s understanding of a certain situation. It can also be known as LIE OF OMISSION.
Unlike a direct lie, omission is subtle—it relies on what is never said.

Being honest is often narrated as telling the truth. Truth doesn't always lie on what we do not say but also about what we choose not to say.
The lie of omission happens when someone withdraws useful facts in order to create a false impression. It is mosttimes more dangerous than an actual lie because it hides behind silence and half-truths.
Intentional withholding – the person knows the truth but hides it.
One with such act poses these characteristics such as Intentionally withholding information that can change a situation or save life, Creates false belief in other to achieve a goal, Often justifying his/her action, and can appear harmless.

Fear of consequences, desire to protect themselves or others, to gain personal advantage, to avoid conflict or uncomfortable situations and many more can be the reasons of telling such lie.
Note that these lies are far greater than an actual lie.
An unspoken deception may look smaller than a spoken lie, but in reality, it carries the same weight of deception. By hiding information, one manipulates the truth and betrays the trust people have for him/her. In life, relationships, work and honesty builds trust while omission destroys what you used year to build.
