Story Time:
Hello Hiver, Today I will share my personal story and some pictures with you all! I hope for are excited about it as I rarely share personal stories. In the above picture, you can notice an injury, and because of it, my beard hairs don't grow in this area. I can't make some of the beard styles I want because of it too.
It all started when I was around look. No, no ignore the title no body physically bullied me resulting in this. Did what dlm, how you get this injury? Actually, the thing is, I wanna share a very thoughtful story of anger and forgiveness, and finally decided to share this part of my life. Unfortunately, my own anger resulted in this injured and it was bigger than this in past now it's healed a lot.
So as I was saying, I was 10 and we had a guest at our home. He had long hair. I had no issues with anyone's appearance but every day when he had to take us to the park, he spend a lot of making his hairstyle. One day It was enough of my patience (anger 1) and I took matters into my own hand. I made a plan to attach bubble gum to his hair and my sister (anger 2) also Dispel the anger by supporting my devilish plan. I didn't think much about the results of my actions as a child and tada, I did the unthinkable when he was sleeping.
It was around 8-9 of the evening when he woke up and my dad came home at 9 of the evening those days. Our guest (anger 3) cut that part of his hair and Comminated me about how my father will beat me up for this action. My father (action 4) is a smoker, and a diabetic patient, and worked over his limits. I imagined too much based on my guest's briefing of how my father would beat me up to death (yup, he kind of forgot I was only 10). I got frightened and while playing between 8 to 9 (around 9-9:30 my dad came home), I got injured as my mind and thoughts were thinking our the beating I am gonna get and I fall to the ground from the ladders accidentally (damn I should have focused on stairs then punishment, so that's why girls don't like me. They must have seen this mark xD). In no time blood starts dipping and I was in ICU (I still can't understand for a chicken like me had too much blood xD). I was smiling in the hospital bed because I knew now I will not get any punishment. Soon operation starts and I reached home. YAY, I feared my dad more than 1000x damage.
HOW WOULD THIS ALL BE AVOIDED?
We can't change what happened but one thing is clear, it started with my anger. My personal preference is having short hair or at least I don't wanna spend time fixing my hair. If I didn't get angry for not taking me to the park quickly then this would be avoided. My sister might also explain to me why not to do it and my guest might not scold and comminate me. Yup, you dash dash.... you were younger than us and might apply ice to remove the gum (anyways I have no negative feelings in my heart about what happened and why it happened xD).
FORGIVENESS:
There are 5 types of forgiveness according to books I read (of course written by humans) and I think this is the right time to share this information. I see anger and forgiveness connected with each other.
No Forgiveness:
But dlm, you just mentioned forgiveness then where this no forgiveness comes from? Actually, it's a reality that not everything is forgivable for example being a follower of a monotheist religion and having polytheist ideologies could be an unforgivable act by that monotheist God. Humans are no different, sometimes there are strict rules that we use to create examples so others don't repeat the same act (for example plagiarism downvotes).
CONDITIONAL FORGIVENESS:
When we are angry at a loved one we usually think, if x person will come and say sorry then we will forgive x person. Many people became angry because they are waiting to say a sorry if this reminds you of someone then say a simple and genuine "SORRY". This is the most toxic type of forgiveness as we have expectations and humans are not good to have expectations (Yup, I an alien xD).
TRANSFORMATIVE FORGIVENESS:
What can be a better example then HiveWatchers appeal? But dlm, isn't it conditional forgiveness? Actually, it's more transformative forgiveness than conditional although it involves a condition. Transformative forgiveness is forgiving someone with the hope that they will change.
UNCONDITIONAL FORGIVENESS:
Dlm, don't give me a headache with forgiveness and forgive me instead I am leaving. Wait, if you don't understand forgiveness you might not able to understand the anger and if you don't understand it you might hurt yourself. hmmm so when we are angry we hurt ourselves too? That is true, when you are angry it's causing harm to you. carry your own but be quick. Unconditional forgiveness is naturally built in mothers. Even if they know you will commit mistakes again they forgive you.
FORGIVE ALL:
but dlm first you said no forgive but now you say forgive all. I am confused. Is this a prank? Actually, in history, we have the rarest people who forgave all. It would be a God or a human but it's the rarest of the rarest type of forgiving and only a few people in history were able to achieve this. so I can skip this? As you want my purpose was to tell you all types.
WHY YOU SHOULD FORGIVE?
but dlm, x person ate all my chocolate. I will not forgive x person. Listen, if you don't wanna forgive others because of their deeds then forgive them for you. for me? really? hmmm Forgiving others makes you less angry. Once you forgive them you can focus on work, your health will improve and you will sleep better at night. Hmmm, I will forgive x person and share my chocolate next time.
BONUS:
If you read this far you might enjoy and learn something so I have a bonus for you. Show me, show me, show me... (said excitedly)
I took multiple pictures of the beech of this same place and angle and this one was my favorite. but why this? Do you see the couple in the picture? Anybody can imagine themselves there with a person of their choice.
LOL, what happened to your hair? Since this story was about long hair so I found it funny to share this picture. Since we reached the beach on the bike at late night just to have fresh air so the bike made my hair go BOOM!
I hope you all enjoyed this post as much as I enjoyed making it. This is the first time I introduced an imaginary friend in the post and a touch of personal pictures. Give me feedback about this part of the post, especially so I can evaluate myself and improve. Until next time, bye! See you soon on Hive!
