Hi everyone! Welcome to another edition of the #Hivelearners Weekly Featured Contents. Week 126:- Edition 02:-. With the theme "The Worst Reasons."
There was one time a friend of mine entered a relationship with this one girl he came across on Facebook, and then he just wanted to flirt with her and then not end up doing anything serious with her at the end of the day because, at that point in time, he was more of a playboy and not really a fan of love due to the serval heartbreak he had encountered in his previous relationship.
So since then, he really never took any form of relationship seriously and was always going around and fleeting with girls and was never ready to have a serious thing with them. So at first, when he came across this particular girl on Facebook, he really wanted to fleet with her like other girls he fleets with. He then checked her current location on Facebook and then saw that where she resides, according to the details on her profile, wasn't really far from where he resides too.
So this friend of mine eventually texted her and was trying to get to know her more, and then at first, she started snubbing his messages and was giving him more late replies, and then this really made him like her more and made him also to be eager to know more about her and all of that.
But then, unfortunately for him, things didn't go as planned for him in the sense that he eventually wanted to just fleet with her as he normally does on a normal day. But then this time, he eventually fell into her trap by liking her and wanting to take her all seriously.
So he then asked for her contact so then could talk better on Whatsapp, but then she refused to give it out to him and said if he wanted to text more, he should text her on Snapchat or Instagram because according to her, she wasn't really a fan of Facebook and doesn't really come there more oftenly to text.
And that was how he texted her, and then they began to talk more and more, and then this guy started loving up, and then she was being hard to get for him, which gave him more reasons to like her and wanted to push harder to get her.
Eventually, along the line, they started texting and calling each other almost every day of their lives. And then he eventually expressed his feelings to her after awhile and told her how he felt about the whole thing. And he asked her out that night, and then after some days, she decided to give him a try.
And then they began to talk every day about their lives since that very day. He then found out after a while that she doesn't even reside at where he thought she used to reside and found out she was out of the country.
He recently began to think about the whole situation and said he was going to go for a long-distance relationship because he was already in love with the girl already, and ever since then, he began to look for a way to start saving up so he could go join her outside the country. Because he literally had the plan of being with this girl and wanted to get married to her.
As time goes on, she eventually told him the truth that her dad was never a Nigerian but then her mom was and that her parents are not staying together anymore. And asked if he could get married to a girl from another country. Because her dad was from a different country and her mom was from Nigeria, but they were not married.
According to him, he said her mom got pregnant for her dad and gave birth to the child and took her to her parents and changed environment so just to be able to focus on life. And then this girl he loved grew up thinking her mom's parents were her parents, and then her dad was outside the country.
He already has a new wife, which was her stepmother. But then, after he found out that he had a daughter in Nigeria, he asked the mom to send her to him to come visit, and when she got there, she didn't want to come, and that was how she started residing there, and the rest was history.
Why He Had To Let Go Of Her
After all of this explanation of what the whole thing was about, the guy became so down and even fell really, really sick. Because he already loved this girl so much to the extent that he could not even go a day without talking to her.
But then,he doesn't know what to do because his parents weren't going to let him marry a girl out of their tribe. Which was something that he had no choice but to obey because they were his parents, and they literally believe that they know better and feel that they have a better experience and understanding of life.
That was how this girl eventually let go of this girl. And since then, he has been trying to heal up from the whole thing. But then, life has been quite hard for him to cope with ever since that day.
In Conclusion
Left to me, I literally don't think all of that should have hindered this guy from being with her since he was literally so into her at that point in time. I just felt like the parents should have just let them do their thing since they weren't kids anymore and they were older enough to decide and choose for themselves.
