A Big Privilege

Hive Learners community is home for me, 90% of whatever I am on the hive blockchain was gotten from this very community. I remember when I joined hive newly the key secret my friend who brought me on board 
Today I am glad, what he told me is working out just as predicted, I owe him a million thanks for that. Funny enough when i joined this community newly, I saw that it's not just a place where you just come drop a post and leave. Your relationship with others matters a lot. I realized that Hive Learners community, is geared towards promoting good relationship and love among it's members along side with impacting them with the necessary knowledge needed to become good writers. So I followed the trend.
Here, your good writting skill alone is not enough, it's a family , we work together appreciate each other and grow together. Good skills without love and other quality traits is beautiful nonsense. I was able to grow in this community not because I knew how to write, no! But because even with my junks I have people who come around to motivate, encourage and correct me. Ah if not for the good bond of love that is alive in this community, some of us would have left since, because I am no match in terms of writing compared to many authors here..
Impact of the Weekly Featured Topics on Me
One of the basic things the weekly featured topics has done for me is the activation of broad and deep reasoning/thinking ability. Before I joined this community, my ability to ponder over a given topic was very low. Some times I get frustrated while trying to gather informations up to get a make a post. But when I started participating in the weekly featured contest, I discovered that it was gradually becoming easy for me, sometimes , after reading a friend's post I get more ideas on how to go about my own. It's makes the journey sweet.
The featured topics has so also developed the research attitude in me, previously I don't like going on research. But you know, it's not every topic I have quality experience on, there are some that I need to consult either the internet or other materials inorder to get what to write. Through the featured topics I was able to have information about many topics and words that I didn't even know existed before, for instance it was , through the featured topics I got to know about zodiac signs, prior to that time, I have never heard the word anywhere before.
By constantly, participating in the weekly featured contest my writting skill has been improving by the grace of God, when I join the platform newly, I was not like this. They said practice makes perfect, truly I have sense the impact of consistency on my life.
With weekly featured topics it is very easy for one to come up with a post, sometimes pondering on topics to write on can be so frustrating, but with topics already laid down for us, everything becomes simple, all you have to do is look for the necessary informations and put them together. Interestingly, the Featured topics often comes with topic description as well, so one knows where he/she is going to, because a guide has already been laid down for everyone. Anyone writing knows what is required of him/her. I must confess, if there has not always been topic descriptions, I may be finding it difficult to come up with something palatable, A thanks to the community for that aid.
The featured topics has also made it so easy for me to interact with the post of others, since I know what we are to write on, a lot of ideas would be popping through my head even while engaging, the writers post always looks like something i have encountered before. It is very easy for me to chip in some things as well
Without any Ado I would love to talk about some friends, I was able to make on this community through the weekly featured topics and how they have been of help to me. Remember, if I had not been engaging with those posts I wouldn't have met them and if they had not engaged on mine too, we might not have even cross paths. If you are the type that doesn't love engagement on Hive I bet you, you would stand alone😁😁

During those days, I never engaged with any of her post, most times I come across her on others posts, one of those days, I made a post and I was surprise to see her comment. the reason why I was surprised was because I was rating her among the royalties of the community. The comment she made was so encouraging. I was so happy that day, infact I felt almost thesame joy I use to feel when I see the name lazypanda🤣. Like I was new to the community trying to find where to pitch my tent and then boom a celebrity came by and said mhen! You are doing well! 😁 It was like heaven on earth.
After that edition, she still visited my post again on another occasion, and dropped another sweet comment, it was from there I began following her post back to back and I realized that I was missing all these while. Her articles always have good moral lessons, they are always interesting and very engaging too, I find it very easy to relate with the message she is always trying to pass across.
I kept visiting her articles and she visits mine too, after a while I decided to follow her up so that I can be seeing every post she makes, I never knew she has me in mind too, she became very friendly and we exchanged phone numbers. Hope became more than a friend, giving me motherly advise, supporting my posts immensely, encouraging me and giving me guides.. they are just so much to mention all, if I had not met her, I wouldn't have reached where I am on this blockchain today. Ouch! It was even through her I got to know the person of 
I didn't know where to place her, she is more than a friend, infact I saw calling her a friend too small, so I decided to call her mom. She's young outside but a mother within. It's a privilege to have her in my life. Though she's not too active like before because of her studies, the good news is we are very much in touch till date.

It was through her I learnt how to engage very well, uptil date she is still vibrant in engagement, she engages almost every post on the contest not minding whether you engage her post too or not. That single act encourages beginners like us. You know it gladens the heart when you see someone with about 70 reputation drop a comment on your post hehe.. God bless you ma, you really strengthenede me.
Before we became friends, she was always coming by my post, even if I had no comments at all, if you check my articles very well you would discover that most of the comments there were hers. I just love her for humility, I was just a starter but she was always coming by, I know she doesn't know that her constant visit always motivate me.
Her post are always inspiring like I would always say, so she became part of those whose post I always engage no matter what. And she was always engaging mine too. Her comments are always wonderful and sweet hehe. It always gets us into chatting most times🤣 infact some days it goes so long that we have to just look for a way to cut it off😂
Princessbusayo has been so supportive to me, I can remember she boosted my post many times with her ecency points 😁😁 I can't say thank you enough. She wants to see me grow on the blockchain, there were many times she invited me to several contest and suggested communities for me to join. I can't thank you enough ma. You are a blessing to me.

It was through hopestylist's post on this community that I get to know him, I saw his comments on one of her posts so I decided to check his works too and boom! this guy is a mad writer. If I am to talk about writing machines he would be first among top ten. I have never regretted dropping a comment on his post because of how fun his replies always are .
I remember one certain time I was under suspension in the community, quduus was so worried that he had to chat me privately to see if there was anything he could do to help me out. Such a caring person. I celebrate you my broh🥰
5 . Cheeamaka (
Well I didn't expect that we would be very good friends at all but destiny always has it's ways. We became very close , in fact even when I was not engaging on her articles like before she kept visiting each of my posts and she doesn't leave without dropping a sweet comment. She's very good at trouble making 🤣, yet I always look forward to see her around, I really enjoy her comments I must confess.
Subsequently, we started chatting on discord and from there, we exchanged phone numbers and we headed to WhatsApp, I and cheeamaka are still good friends and we communicate almost everyday, I repeat, almost every 😁
She's someone who is interested, in my growth, many times she will call and ask if I had made my post for the day, and give me clues Incase I told her I was out of ideas. She also introduced me to other communities. She's a kind of lady that never gives up and knows what she wants. that's one thing I love I love about her.

I met him last month I think, he dropped a sweet comment on my post and after I replied, I had more reasons to keep such a person around. I visited his post and he writes pretty well. Since we met it's just few of my posts that he has not commented on. That has been very encouraging to me. We are still getting to know each other better though but Sam is nice .
I am already feeling bad because school has resumed and he is going back soon, so he might not be too active on the blockchain again nevertheless, it's all for good. I wish him the best.

I have been engaging on her post for some time then and her comment section is always loaded hehe, some times I use to feel as if she might not even see my comments but guess what? she always gets back to me as fast as possible.
I was surprised the day mommy followed me hai!! It was like Christmas hehe! I had to wipe my eyes and check again and again😁 she is just so full of humility and I love the part of her that I have met. Is it encouragement? Oh! I have gotten more than enough from her. most times when I feel weak and want to give up even on the blockchain boom! Mommy comes up with liquidated encouragement and sets me back on fire. I told her I would visit her one of these days. I know she thinks I am joking but I'll surprise her one day🤣🤣.
