I Love these Posts
There are just so many good authors in the community and I must confess that choosing the best out of them is something very difficult. Hive Learners community has really built a lot of mighty writers with excellence, a big thank you to this wonderful community. Like I said earlier on, there are many good writers in the community, in fact the least is already as strong as David, in writing. Everyone is really giving something amazing here. Nevertheless these five are the ones that came into mind while looking for the best posts.
1 . Social pressure: The Exerted Influence. By
Princessbusayo is one author whose post, I love reading because of how educative and inspiring they usually are. For this very edition what drew my attention to the post was her choice of topic. When I first saw the topic I was so eager to read it, so much that I have to by pass many posts to ensure I grazed on it first😁. Social pressure is something that is eating our society today. We have a lot of people doing wrong things not because they wanted but because of pressure mounted on them by the society. Here is something the author said "many people don't want to engage in what others are doing, but because they can not control themselves, they have been lured into doing what they didn't want to do" this point is very clear, that is what social pressure can do.
The Author narrated a story of her life and a friend she once had during college. The friend who was a lady got attracted to the author because of her seriousness and all was going fine for both of them academically until the Friend decided to join a wrong set of friends who poisoned her mind into chasing material things rather than her studies, at the end things turned against her and she has to withdraw from school. It was such a pathetic story.
The writer told us about how she was being constantly pressured by that very friend to join them and explore life but she refused to compromise, they called her all sort of names ranging from being unsocialized and so on but at the end she that endured became victorious.
I concur with the author on this issue of self control as regard to pressure, you know pressure is like a wind, it does not last long. We don't just have to give in to it. The fact that everyone is chasing a thing doesn't mean that it is the right one. Life is not like politics where majority carry the vote. People educated and wise people can be chasing the wrong thing passionately. This is why we need to know where we are headed in life. Know your purpose and define your stands else every wind that blows by can easily carry you away.
Many other things were elaborated in this post by the author including pressure that always makes lady's want to get married because others are doing it or because of age and probably parental pressure. This post is very rich, you can check it out via the link below.
2 . Not too sure I want to say sorry by
One of the basic factors that draws me to post are the topics, for instance this very topic is so captivating. When I saw it I was wondering what the writer wants to share, I was so eager to read what is within.
According to the writer of this post, sorry doesnt not only heal the person whom we offend but it also heals the offender because you will have peace. If you have ever offended someone and you left without settling the issue you would understand what she is trying to say here very well, except if your conscience is dead.
The writer said she was not born with the trait of saying sorry, it was very difficult for her. Even when she wanted to apologise she finds it very difficult but along the way she realized that she was at the wrong path , so she worked on her self and she's now so full of saying sorry. In life we can't keep holding unto negative traits and say we can't help it, it's a lie, anything that can be built can be destroyed. If we set our hearts to erase our negative traits they will all be eliminated with time.
This post is very inspiring, I wish you can read it too.. below is the link to the post
3 . Let's Deal with the realistic subject by
Sperosamuel15 is a friend I came across recently in the community, and I guess this is the very first post of his that I read. You know I Really wanted to know what the realistic subject is, probably I would switch to it , now that the economy is bad who wouldn't like to go for what is real?
The writer spoke a lot about teaching, and I must confess I love it, perhaps because I am a teacher😁 in one line he said, "teaching is a noble profession that has impacts on our lives, families, government and the world at large. We all can bear witness to that. He also added that teaching is the mother of all professions, I give him an A1 (excellent) here. Without teaching there wouldn't have been any other profession at all. Even if it's not administrative in nature. Kudus to all teachers teachers.
The author said if he was opportuned to be a teacher, he would go for a subject that is realistic in nature, a subject that applies to our day to day live and not something abstract. Well guess what that subject is? Economics of course! He stated a lot of reasons to back his choice and they are very convincing. Our country has turned into something else, it is high time we begin to study what is professional in nature, such that even if we don't get employed by the government we can still use our knowledge to earn a living. This post is very juicy, if you have time, I wish you can check it out, the link is just below this write up
4 . Real Friends are Expensive to Purchase and Scarce to Find by
We all know how difficult it is to get at people who genuinely care and love us from their hearts. The world is full of selfish and evil people. For this very post, seeing the cover photo and how meaningful the title is, I was intrigued to read it. I just know within me that somehow the author has a message for me.
The writer narrated how she met a good friend, who was older and far advanced than her both in academics and life in a computer training school. It all started like a joke but it became something big. The writer made us understand that friendship knows no bounds, distance, race, age, class and so on can't affect it. True friendship can not be shattered. She said a lot about friendship, you can also check it out through the link below

5 . My All-time pre-examinations study method by .
As students, one of the most dreadful moments in school is the period of examinations. No one would love to take poor grades home, we know what our parents are going through to raise money inorder to sponsor us in school. I was triggered to read this post because I want to know more methods to prepare for an examination. Like the author said, there are many methods and each of us have the ones that works for us. But how can we know a thing if we don't try it out? So I have to read to get more heheh
The author gave some methods which she used to prepare for her upcoming examinations, I have checked them out, they are very helpful. If you are a student I will advise you check it out too, it will definitely help you. Probably, you might get a simpler one that might work for you than the one you have been using previously.
