What Is Love?
According to Oxford dictionary love is an intense feeling of affection and care towards another person. I love that word intense, the affection is not normal at all, It is so high and unusual. That means love is not something that is easy or cheap as we imagine, it is more than expensive, for one to have affection for you intensely implies that you have become part of the person. Love is a natural thing that has it's root in the heart . Love means taking another person as yourself.
Love is said to conquer all, once there is love, every protocol can be broken. One of the things that is common among all human on Earth wether rich or poor is love. No matter how difficult a man is, no matter how proud a man can be when love falls on him he becomes so simple and humble. The best example of love I can give is the one the occurs between a mother and her child or children. Love exist in families and outside the family.
To crown it all, love is patience, love is peace, love is respect, love cherishes, love is honor, love is endurance, love is care, love is mercy, love is forgiveness, love is understanding, anything contrary to this, is not love.
Can Money Buy Love?
No is the answer, there no amount of money, gold, silver, name it whatsoever, that can be exchanged for love. Love is like life, love is a unique commodity that can not be bought but built rather. It is something you create by yourself, it is not a good in the market one can stumble upon. Love is not found but built, it is wrong for one to say I found love, you rather say I built love. You would agree with me that before that lady falls in love with you, you paid prices that money can not afford, natural prices so to say.
Even parents with their kids at home decide and create love for their children otherwise they can hate them, have you not come across parents that hate their own biological children? In this regard we can say that love is a choice.
Love is living , it has characteristics that are similar to that of living things, one of which is growth. Love grows, as we feed love with the right diets it gains strength and grows, so also if it is not fed it becomes stunt and eventually dies.
What Then Can Afford Love?
There are many things that can build/create love amongst which I will mention and explain a few. meanwhile all of them needs to come in place for you to afford love, remember it's a building, Many materials will be needed to make it whole . Stay tuned 😊.
1 . Time and attention: ones of the greatest currencies that can afford love is time and attention, pardon me for joining these two but they seem to walk together when it comes to love. Ones ability to sacrifice and waste time, showing great interest or concern about the another person's matters is the foundation of found, I said waste because you will not be paid for it. And sometimes it might not be appreciated or noticed yet you keep wasting. The valuable time you have to do other stuffs, you inconvenience yourself to making sure that person you love is happy and in a good shape, by always being there for the person. Even when the person is discussing issues that seem not to be relevant you just have to take it and give the person you attention, making the person look very relevant in you. This is more than money, money can't afford this one. It needs display and you are obviously the actor.
2 . Trust: there is no love without trust, one has to believe the person he claims to love no matter what the case may be. One has to have a strong confidence and believe in the person he loves even if the person seem to be crooked. Trust comes by acceptance through understanding, that is why is it wrong to love someone you barely know. You have to know the person and the person's weaknesses so that you can the trust the person. If trust is absent in love suspicion sets in. And for one to fall in love with you he/she must have first of all trusted you otherwise it won't happen. Love is trust.
3 . Understanding : another vital material needed for love is understanding, one's ability to be considerate and Willing to take the worst of the person he/she desires. Without understanding love will crash, as there would be no peace. Being willing to like the person's likes and dislike the person's dislikes. Understanding in love is birthed by patience and endurance. These two can overlook the worst offences that can be committed.
4 . Care: you have to be concerned about anyone you claim to love otherwise forget it, no money can buy care, you have to work it out by spending time with the person, checking on , calling and texting the person as often as possible. This would capture the person's attention towards you. As the person would feel valued and important because of you.
5 . Respect: respect is reciprocal, no one would love a person who doesn't have respect for him/her, thesame way you want her/ him to respect you , you must learn to respect him/her.
Share equal rights. See the person as yourself, respect the person's opinion as you would respect yours.
In conclusion, love is sweet the way it is, but when money sets in love is sweeter. Even though money can't buy love but money is needed in love to meet basic needs so that it can move smoothly. Here is where many people get it wrong, people now make love look as if it is a job opportunity, an opportunity to make money. That mentality is wrong love is supposed to be pure and supports should come from both persons. It is supposed to be a symbiotic relationship not a parasitic type .
