Good day beloved family, welcome to week 17 Edition 1 contest
Scamming has become a deal of the day in almost every part of the world today. Many lazy and wicked people who don't want to use their hands to work and the talents God has given them are out there to manipulate and exploit that which others have laboured for through cunny means.
My experience
It was around 2019, when I returned from hustling from Abuja that my friend introduced me to an online business platform. Then I was having some cash on me. I happened to be someone who doesn't believe anything online because of the kinds of testimonies I hear around so I am being so careful so that I don't fall a victim.

But as my friend persuaded me with some tangible evidence, I then decided to give it a try and honestly one of the reasons why I gave in was because almost everyone of my friends was involved in this business so I thought why should I be left behind? This thing must be very legit. I went for some research and I discovered that the founder is even a church boy and a fellowship leader for that matter, that really gave me comfort and peace.
This is how the thing works you invest your capital with the company, they trade and give u 1% interest of your invested money everyday as interest. And apart from that you can withdraw you main capital anytime you want to. But withdrawal is not instant, it usually takes a while, Like five days.
After gaining that information I got more eager to invest because I needed more money, I already started calculating how much I would be making in a month without having to stress my self with any work. I was very happy and nervous. Finally I registered with them got an account and funded my wallet. Even though I have registered it yet I was still scared somehow. So I started with a little capital my first deposit was two thousand five hundred naira (#2500). I said let me test the authenticity of the platform first if nothing happened then I will deposit more. After a week people were cashing out huge. It touched me because the bigger your money is the bigger your interest. I decided to double my fund to be five thousand naira (#5000).
Within that week a friend who introduced me to the platform borrowed about eighty thousand naira (#80,000) and deposited in his wallet. When I heard of it I said wowππ― this is it, we are going to be rich soon. Money has followed us to our door steps. With my small five thousand naira I was already feeling like a big boy already. When I withdrew my first interest which was about two thousand naira thereabout I went and bought a new shoe. Ha!! Money has comeπ.
Guess what I did next? π€£π€£, I sold the phone I bought with my last card very cheaply at the rate of nineteen thousand naira (19,000) and I deposited fourteen thousand naira (#14,000) into my wallet making a total of nineteen thousand Naira In my wallet (#19,000). By this time I was already seeing my self as a big boy. My plans was that I won't withdraw my interest and spend but I will withdraw and reinvest until my money is upto one hundred thousand Naira (#100,000). Now am without phone and without any money in my bank account I invested all I had. Anytime I want to check the wallet I have to burrow phone from someone to check. My mom tried to warm me but I would not listen. She said it is not wise to invest your last money in a business you don't even know how genuine it but I neglected her she didn't even know I sold my phone and doubled the money already each time she inquires about my phone I do tell her I sold it and used the money for something very vital that would yield bigππ.
One day I was so broke I needed money to do something urgent then I decided to apply for withdrawal and one week is past I didn't see my money I waited two weeks gone no money . At this point I began getting worried but I said since the owner of the platform is a church boy no problem I know he won't betray God. But i was disappointed. After two weeks I met the guy that introduced me to it and began laying complains but he said they are just doing system update that all will be fine. Hmm! I continued waiting. until it was months and I didn't see my money. My heart broke it was almost Christmas period all the plans I had were wrecked. And that was my last card. I refused to go and work I was depending on them. I wasted months and I didn't even benefit anything from them and my phone is gone. My friends case was worst he burrowed eighty thousand naira and now this guys have shut down. How would he pay back? Each time I want to be worried if I remember his case I use to cheer up because mine was a small one compared to his.
From that time I promised myself that even if it is my father that would bring any online business for me I will not do it. No matter how I see people cashing out I will mind my own business ππ
Thank you so much for reading, I really appreciate.
