I think we underestimate the role education plays in preparing students for life after school. If we complain about how a detailed grade adds to the pressure on students, then what do you think the outside world will do to them? If a student can't handle the pressure while in school, within a comfort zone, how will they handle themselves when they finally embark on the career they are studying for?
