In a strange city
where my career pursuit has led me.
ABK!! a city of sin it is called
I was admitted in a school
with lot of brilliant minds
each and everyone roaming about
To fulfil their desired dreams
Amidst the career young scholars
lies a lot of crowd and noises
of marketers and hawking men&women
struggling as hard as their might could handle
Both sides playing their roles
to obtain their goals and objectives.
Strolling around my new den
I stumbled upon my department
the home of communication technology
called mass communication
A place where words are traded for swords
with our favourite quote in mind
"No communication No society"
written widely on walls
so that the blind can see
here I am
in a class of 450 student
sitting in squares
I found a sit
A wooden chair, not comfortable enough
it will serve its purpose just fine.
in the mist of the gigantic crowd
that pays no attention to my existence
here she comes
my object of desire
looking as confuse as I was
I offered her a sit
strolling by me
I was enchanted by her fragrance
she glitters like the stars
what a distinctive beauty, I murmured.
love at first sight you would say
But I was blinded at the moment
Sitting next to each other
a lot of thoughts kept bothering my mind
I wondered for hours on what to say
unable to get a hold on my emotions
To break the awkwardness
I altered the first word
is this your first time here, I said
she turned around with a smile
causing more confusion in my mind
I could feel drought in my throat
hey fool!!!!!
is that the best pick up line? I said to myself
She noticed a change in my appearance
she took pity on me
and decided to give the conversation a try
we chatted for hours
Deliberating on series of questions
I was overwhelmed by her sound
I Got lost in the moment.
Time seems to flow differently
mother nature must be impressed
to allow a day last forever
give young love birds
time to tango with words.
her words were short and little
but I was willing to give her my all
what good is eternity
without her to dine with.
In few days
we became closer than usual
in few weeks
we were more than friends
in few months
we will be graduates
like Tom would say
"we both got what we wanted'
Our love story is far from ending
as we flourish in the memories we both share
filled with hopes of happily ever after.
