Things are getting worse in my country as we speak, though all we thought was that our vote counts but the last election rendered us all helpless and made sure that politics is now a one-man decision, how come a person came out and said he is the next person to rule the country and he fulfills it by making himself the president of the country.
Democracy is now one man's decision and what we are suffering majorly in the country is godfatherism, this is one of the challenges we are facing in the country and this is setting the country backward, our decision as a citizen never counts in the country, our leaders are now the one ruling and victimizing the masses.
At first, we thought democracy would be the best, by electing our leaders and allowing them to make decisions for the country but for the past one and half years of this new government, life has been unbearable for people in the country, things are extremely expensive and citizens are dying of hunger, I believe having a leader is a way of relieving the citizens from stress but this one is the opposite
Democracy has taken another turn in my country, it is now a crazy-demo, how can we be suffering for what we produce, some people can no longer afford three square meals, things are expensive and the price of fuel can kill now, I was chatting with my sister and she said she prefers to take public transport now than to take her car, we aren't aware of the removal of subsidy until the day he was sworn-in as the president of the country that was the day he declared subsidy and this got to everyone as a shock, no time to prepare our mind that the worse is coming.
The democratic regime has shown us the worst and still showing us, how can the price of one spaghetti is equivalent to one dollar, things that we have been buying very cheaply last two years have tripled the price now even more, why is this democratic regime is making us suffer as if blood doesn't run in their veins, how can the poor breath when you are pressing their throat?
I think the best solution to all these problems that my country is facing is for the military to take over, I think things will be better, life will be easier for everyone, and if anyone tries nonsense he should be dealt with, this suffering is too much for everybody in the country, even the rich ones are crying.
You can not beat a child and expect him not to cry, protest upon protest has been going on in the country yet our voices are not heard, how can you decide to punish everyone and expect us to fold our arms and do nothing about it, I think the country should shut down for some weeks and let's see if they would profound solutions to all these greediness that we are experiencing in the country.
Shutting the country down for weeks will be the best option, the airport should be shut down, hospitals and schools, everything that is generating money for the country should be shut down because protest is no longer the solution, everyone should go on strike, and let's see if there would be a solution or not, all we are requesting for is to find a better solution to the situation he put the country into, and if there is no solution I suggest the military should take over and rule the country.
The democratic regime has now been turned to one man's decision, it is now a throne that can be passed from one generation to the other, all our politicians are greedy and selfish, and all of them are occupying the space with their families and turning politics into one man game in the country, let the country shut down and by doing that there will be a solution to the inflation we are experiencing.
