What Does a Perfect World Mean to Me?
To me, a perfect world is one free of worries. I often find myself worrying a lot, typically about essential needs. My ideal world would be free from illness, hunger, and poverty. It would be a loving environment where we care for our neighbors as we care for ourselves.
Health
Health, they say, is wealth, and good health is often underrated. Many people visit the hospital daily for various symptoms, both mild and severe. The pain inflicted on those individuals is something I can only imagine - trust me, I wouldn't wish a hospital visit even on my enemies. And we can't overlook the financial burden that comes with medical care, not to mention the devastating loss of life that can occur. Now, imagine a perfect world where hospital visits are unnecessary or, if needed, everything is taken care of. This relief would significantly lessen life's burdens and could even extend a person's lifespan, allowing them to worry less.
Hunger and Poverty
Have you ever gone to bed with an empty stomach, perhaps due to a lack of money or the need to ration? Can you recall how you would think about imaginary meals and ways to distract yourself from hunger? Now, picture a perfect world where hunger and poverty do not exist. You would be able to eat anything you wish and buy what you can afford because you have the means to do so. In a perfect world, hunger and poverty would be eradicated through love, where everyone can sense and respond to their neighbor's needs.
United Leaders
In this perfect world, we would need leaders to guide us. Imagine having a leader who genuinely cares about the well-being of all people, not just those close to them. If every leader had this mindset, the world would be a better place, united, with everyone's voice being heard.
Individual Growth
Human beings are inherently insatiable, always seeking more and looking to explore. In this perfect world, no job or task would be assigned for life; instead, there would be opportunities and timelines to allow individuals to pursue different paths until they find their true calling. This flexibility would facilitate personal growth and help channel untapped potential into productive avenues.
While we know that challenges will arise in life, we can find comfort in knowing that we can connect with others facing similar issues. Communicating with one another fosters a sense of belonging and understanding. Many aspects of the academic calendar would likely shift, as everyone might be expected to have a general understanding of various subjects before deciding where to focus their efforts.
In this envisioned perfect world, we embrace change and foster growth, ensuring that everyone can thrive. United in love, we stand and divided we fall.
Was this world never meant to be perfect to begin with?
I firmly believe that the world was meant to be perfect and that it can still achieve that perfection despite its current state. This begins with genuinely caring for one another and putting others' needs before our own, just as they would do the same for us.
This is my entry to week 200, episode 01 of the weekly featured contest for reading, and the topic to be discussed is THE PERFECT WORLD.
