Today I would be sharing with you all a drawing of an African lady. It's been a more than a month since I made any pencil sketch so I'm a bit rusty. But I'm really glad about the turn out of this draw. I love the highlights on the image, which attracted me more, coupled with the structure of the hair. Trying out this drawing was challenging giving the fact that I've not drawn in a while.
First of all making the sketch to give a imaginary bearing of how you want the image to look. This is really important and does not necessarily need to be accurate. Then I went ahead to drawing out the eyes. Which I said is one of the important part of making a portrait.
I alway make sure I drawing from the left to the right to avoid smudging. I also need to be careful to avoid making thick lines while shading. I don't use a blending stone, tissue paper or anything, I believe you can work any magic with your pencil alone and that as been my standard. I love to seen that rough touch on my art work when I'm done.
Then I moved up to the hair which was my favourite part of my drawing. Although it took a long time to finish pick the hair to get a really strong depth. I was happy at the outcome.
This is also an important part of any drawing and the mouth or the lips shows the expression as well as the eyes. So it's one of the place you would want to pay attention to.
I'm really glad that this drawing had a nice outcome. The one key to making your drawing look really is your ability to show contrast on your work. It brings any work to life, I'm still working on it and I hope with time I would do even better. I also use the medium to apologize for my absence things had been out of hand lately. Hoy estaría compartiendo con todos ustedes un dibujo de una dama africana. Esta sería mi primera publicación aquí en #hivelearners. Estoy tan feliz de estar aqui. Pero estoy muy contento con el resultado de este sorteo. Me encantan las mechas de la imagen, que me atraían más, sumado a la estructura del cabello. Hacer este dibujo fue un reto ya que no he dibujado en mucho tiempo.
Haz el boceto primero para dar una orientación imaginaria de cómo quieres que se vea la imagen. Esto es realmente importante y no necesariamente tiene que ser exacto. Luego seguí dibujando los ojos. El ojo es una de las partes importantes a la hora de hacer un retrato.
Siempre me aseguro de dibujar de izquierda a derecha para evitar manchas. También tengo que tener cuidado de no hacer líneas gruesas al sombrear. No uso papel de seda ni nada para suavizar mi trabajo, creo que puedes hacer magia solo con tu lápiz y ese ha sido mi estándar. Me encanta ver ese borde áspero de la obra de arte cuando termino.
Luego pasé al cabello, que era mi parte favorita de mi dibujo. Aunque me tomó mucho tiempo terminar el cabello para obtener una profundidad realmente fuerte. estaba feliz con el resultado
Esta también es una parte importante de cualquier dibujo y la boca o los labios muestran la expresión al igual que los ojos. Así que es uno de los lugares a los que le gustaría prestar atención.
Estoy muy feliz de que este dibujo haya tenido un buen resultado. La única clave para que su dibujo se vea realmente bien es su capacidad para mostrar contraste en su trabajo. Le da vida a cualquier trabajo, todavía estoy trabajando en él y espero que con el tiempo se vea aún mejor.
