I have always believed using perfume is equally unnecessary and an extravagance of needless luxury, which is why never felt the need to possess one, not to mention explore the aroma.
As hilarious it sounds, the few times I ever used any fragrances were probably some stupid body sprays that might as well be better off as room spray!
Don't laugh!
That's just how far a teenage from a middle class family could go!
And then I stopped after a couple of times.
- That was unnecessary to buy with such a little saved-up pocket money instead of buying books secretly.
- I discovered I am extremely sensitive to smells and almost every fragrances, be it room spray, body spray, or perfumes, make me sick, nauseated, even gives me headache! Certainly, on that budget you certainly would not get anything subtle to not make me sick!
I did try to find something, anything within my reach to possess regardless.
Why?
Because I feel like owning a perfume to carry, at least for occasions, is like wearing a nice dress, make you feel intrinsic, distinguished once in a while amidst the crowd.
Then during just random gathering of ours, some of my folks invited me to a very extravagant and grandiloquent shop of perfume!
I must admit the classy collection of that shop was so gallant, vibrant, exquisite that piqued my curiosity and pushed me forward to actually go and sniff around.
Sakib and Riz were like a musicians talking about the notes, rhymes, descants of musics except everything about the talk was about PERFUMES!
I would have never thought perfumes could be such a mystery and almost a dangerous affinity!
They found enthusiasm in perfumes to the point of making a collection like antics, spending hours by simply talking about all sorts of niche, note of fragrances, which reminded me of several kinds of notes and harmony in Music!
Undoubtedly that made me curious while having the privilege to explore such flamboyant and exuberant fragrances that perhaps I never would have had the breadth to adore!
Then they became one, expanding into a business, letting people who desires but cannot afford perfumes of such remarks!
I realized these guys know perfumes probably more than they know their own characteristics.
They are not just a seller, they are admirer, enthusiast of perfumes first which inspired them to become a seller.
Though they are small, tiny startup now, I believe they will grow something to one-to-none someday and I wish to see them grow.
Not because they are my fellas, no I am better than that, but because they are worthy of it.
They are people of art and aesthetics, so obviously they will uphold that certain standard regardless the breadth of their business expansion.
Also buying perfumes online can be confusing
Even though I tend to buy even a pen from online, I never thought of buying a perfume online.
I mean, how do you know what you are getting without smelling it!
Then I met these guys, asked the questions and voila!
I realized these guys know perfumes probably more than they know their own characteristics (I mean it’s a good thing for people who adore perfume! 🤭)
They are not just a seller, they are admirers, enthusiasts of perfumes first, which inspired them to become a seller.
The introduced and made so much effort to find my very own fragrance!
