There are certain experiences that one has that can never be erased easily. This is my first post in this precious moth of February and with much love I wish to express my gratitude to God for all the things He has been doing in my life and that of my family. Kudos to everyone that made it to the new month and this great contest.
I will be sharing some craziest experiences I had as a passenger hmmm thank God for deliverance any way. There was this time I was privileged to be amongst those who attended the wedding of the princess of our land. This occasion wasn't a casual one because the king of the land who happened to be the father of the bride was a man with international repute. This damsel happens also to be his first daughter to be given in marriage. Those of us within the community were so anxious to attend such a glamorous wedding. At least if not for anything, sight seeing is there. The venue for both the traditional and white wedding was scheduled in another location which is over 30 kilometres away from the palace.
It's gonna be a bit far journey to most of us the communards but since there was provision for free ride hmmmm come and see people that came around. After screening and other considerations, I scaled through all the process and the vehicle allotted to us was a Parker( lorry like). The elders and other prominent personalities sat at the front while some of us managed to stand at the open space at the back. As the journey progresses, we got up the hill suddenly we discovered that the vehicle couldn't move forward again. The driver shouted that nothing is working ooooo, brake failed, steering loosed everything is just like that. Immediately the vehicle started going backwards instead of forward. We started shouting and yelling. You could hear different sounds of different voices. Guess what? The kind of speed in that reversed order hmmm was high. Thank God no car was coming behind, some were shouting God and Jesus. Miraculously, the vehicle just stopped as if it was wedged with something. Truth be told my intestine melted down and I concluded that I was death already. What a crazy experience for me.
On another different occasion, I was on a journey to my state capital for a particular function. I boarded a vehicle a sienna like. Before half of the journey, the driver started staggering on the wheels. I noticed that for the first time I thought is just a pothole but when it repeated itself twice hmmm I now knew that something is wrong with the driver. We almost ran into the ditch. We got to a place then he parked to wash his face and took some water to get refreshed before we proceeded. What an amazing experience for me. I have never in my life seen a driver behaving this way. Thank God for preservation.
These experiences really challenged me to learn how to drive though I haven't enrolled in a driving school yet. Anyhow sha, I drove only once in my life and since then i have been driving through my thought and imagination only.
I really appreciate your patience in reading through and all comments acknowledged.
