Special Christmas greetings to everyone,
Trust that we are all doing great. Another second edition of the week 41 is before us with an exciting focus on my plans for this season and how I intend to enjoy every bit of it.
Kudos to all faithful participants and those that have been of great help in ensuring the smooth running of this engagement. May the Lord bless and sustain you.
Apparently before us is the long awaited annual event called Christmas which is a huge celebration that compelled many people to travel to check on their loved ones and exchange good pleasantries. Since I have been celebrating Christmas, it seems each year has its uniqueness and point of advancement. As far as this year 2022 is concerned, the celebration comes in a tight and difficult situation where the inflow of cash is very limited and the cost of things in the market is just on the increase. This necessitates adequate preparation and possibly plan to make sure that one does not end up in a borrowing mood as a new year unveiled itself.
The uniqueness that this year carries makes me to deliberately plan to avoid some level of loopholes. As I normally say especially in times as this. One of the escape root for coming out of any kind of shame or regret is making sure that everything is properly planned for. In this season, one must plan and hope on God to carefully follow the plan schedule. I have lots of plans for this season which includes but not limited to;
- Sharing or an act of love. This is one of the pillars of what I planned to do in this season. To me any act of love that can't be seen through practical way of sacrifice etc is not genuine. There are many people out there that need a little touch of care. You may not gather heaven and earth but the little you have can set someone's life in good shape. A visit to some orphanage homes and other indigent families to share the little I have would be a thing of great joy. Also to visit as many as I can.
- One of the things I planned for is to pray for a smooth Christmas celebration because the season is characterised with so many insecurities and the rate of kidnapping is also alarming. I think the insecurity rate has increased this year compared to other years therefore the nation need serious time for prayers.
- One of.the plans for the season is to raise a financial budget for all the expenses that would be incurred in the cause of the season. When financial budget is not planned, one might run into bankruptcy before the new year begins. This year has been quite challenging economically and the financial inflow of cash is very small. It won't be out of place if the financial targets are kept properly on the record book to give focus.
- As part of the plan is to have a recreational activities to cold off the stress of the year and enjoy my family. I will engage them in little games and any other thing that would move their bodies. If there is time, it's not out of place to go for sight seeing this would also help the children.
- Normally people eat a lot during this season but as for me, I wouldn't eat anyhow instead I will monitor what ever I eat to avoid constipation of the stomach. Just eat moderately.
Sometimes my neighbour cook local dishes which entices one most at times to prefer that to any conventional rice that people normally cook.
Christmas is a season for celebration therefore it's good to celebrate because we so many reasons: life, deliverance etc.
