I would say it a million times over and over again. "I prefer working as a freelancer than being employed".. Well for one of the best reasons I hate having a boss! And I prefer being my own boss.. plus I gotta have time for myself and family, work whenever I want, and even work anywhere in the world, even on vacations..
Being employed is always embarrassing for me, you gotta put on your suit and tie, skirt and blouse, be on shoes or put on a work uniform, I know it sounds crazy but I prefer staying at home, doing nothing, being a full time house mom than working for someone and enriching that person. I mean think about it, 🤔 The value I would add to that person and his business, why don't I use that energy into building my own business?? .
Fiverr is one of the best places I love working on I remembered I made close to $400 a week just sitting down crafting emails, what sort of employed job will pay me that amount of money without working me to death first??
What is my job on Fiverr presisly,, it's simple really I write emails and create thumbnails, I bought a software though that helped me with the emails crafting and my clients love every piece of emails I deliver to them..
Working on Fiverr was great and all it was a unique one year experience.. But, there is always a But! good things never last. In my country you had to use VPN on most sites just so you can be approved and given a job, everyone in most unapproved and corrupt country goes through this problem when dealing with online jobs, am not an exception..
One thing leads to another I got flagged maybe the system detected I was using a VPN somehow I don't really know, I was requested to submit my house ID, Driver licence and utility bill, the documents were pretty hard to combine, and Soo I gave up on Fiverr some time ago.
Being a full time employee wuuuuii! It's skeptical working 6-6 running home late from work, preparing dinner late, not having time for yourself except on Sundays and most times no days at all, worst of all hard time having with your kids
I was working full time for my Dad as a hotel supervisor and it was Hell… I tell you. I had to make sure everything was set to place, and most times when I get scolded by my dad (my boss) for not doing my job properly I would want to yell 😵at him, but remembered dame… he is still my Dad. 🥶
I never ever had time for anyone most especially myself and the annoying part was not even being appreciative with my service I render to grow his business , he didn't even consider me like his daughter but treated me like just one of the workers. So I quit and Right now I want to channel all those energy into building my own business, thought it will be more beneficial for me.
The truth is, I would prefer a thousand times freelancing or building my own business and company than being employed by a company benefiting someone else and enriching that person for just a small fee.. 💵
