Hi all this is and this is my post submission for this week's contest.
The last month was pretty much awesome for every Indian as it was the month of Holi and the Indian festival where we people play with colors and apply colors on each other during this festival, it's not just about the festival but there have been many occasions for me in the last month. It was pretty happening, and a busy month for me.
It was an event full of months and there are many reasons to say so, firstly there was a community cricket tournament and it went great for me I have been practicing for the tournament for the last 6 weeks, there was an event also which I hosted actually there were 2 events which I hosted one corporate and one party and it did get me good side income also, and there was a naming ceremony of my nephew which was a total of 3 days as we Indians like to celebrate every small occasion in grand style, where we invite our aunt's, sisters, and children's to come and stay for 2-3 days in the occasion house so it feels like occasion in the house.
With all these events there was an occurrence of an unfaithful event also which happened in my neighborhood, so there was an old man in my neighborhood he was really kind, wise and a great man, he used to teach poor kids whose parents were unable to pay tuition fees at school, he was doing well his health was looking good but suddenly one day he got sick initially we all thought that it was a basic fever but due to that he was unable to eat solid food he was completely shifted to liquids by the doctor and the doctor even advised his son that they could take the old man to their home in some days as it's pretty normal to be sick in such age so the doctor performed a basic test it there was nothing wrong in the reports, when the old man came to home we all went to meet him and even his students stop by to greet him but then after 6 days the old man didn't wake up in the morning and the night before we all went to his house and we enjoyed, laughed with him talking about his past and his mischief in his young age, who would have thought that would be his last day, his last laugh.
With all these events the biggest T20 tournament in the world IPL also started in India last month so it is pretty much clear that most of the Indians will be busy, and glued to the television for the next 2-3 months on every evening, so it's would be same schedule for most of the Indians.
To sum up, the last month taught me something that it won't be sunny on every day but it won't stay for long ups and downs are part of life one day you will be happy and the other you will be struggling to find a good reason to be happy, I remember a good quote which the old man told everyone of his student and us neighbors also "This time shall too pass."
