This is quite an interesting topic to write on. Talking about the present state of our recent relationships these days is strictly based on social media and has definitely these have definitely become one of the major setbacks in growing a healthy relationship.

Back to the main topic of discussion, Social Media has become one of the major setbacks in growing healthy and sustainable relationships these days. Relationship to me is supposed to be off social media like why are we carrying our personal life to social media what are we going to prove there, like who are we in competition with.
Love is beautiful if you have what is going for you it's better to leave it off the public before it gets spoilt within a blink of an eye. Relationships before the advent of social media trend me was great and we encountered fewer breakups than now which we have all fallen back to streaming our love life and relationship status online.
Has social media caused more harm than good in relationships? or it does not?
Social media on the other hand has been a great way to showcase how wonderful things are for you but most of the things being shown are fake. Sincerely to me, I feel social media is doing more harm than good to us all in the aspects of our relationships or love lives.

This is very much visible in youths today. Holding to the fact that girls no longer get contented with what their boyfriends can afford and tend to look out for more all this as a result of the influence of social media, stuffing all fake ideas into their heads. Social media can only make relationships worst and less serious and more problematic.
Social media just promotes competition among people who ends up ruining something beautiful going on. I will say social media does not in any way help relationships grow but destroys them.
Though there are people who may have different opinions about these, there are people out there who basically like all their private affairs displayed on the internet, for me, I see no such reasons for that at all.
Social media, on the other hand, promotes cheating among partners, you display your relationship public exposing your man or woman to total strangers, and hence start giving them ideas before you know it there are flooding all around them boom you man or woman is gone.
On the other hand, social media has done more good than bad to relationships there might be other beneficial reasons but to me, I don't see that and I very much do not encourage it. See various people's sex tapes all leaking online this is due to the background there have set for themselves already, all their life there want to show people how beautiful their fake lives are and end up putting themselves in harm's way.
On this note, I will say social media have no special ingredient to add to our relationships, It is better to leave our personal life out of the eyes of people who want nothing but our downfall.
