War is something I have never witnessed in my life, even though I have heard about it, seen it in movies, read some history about it, and heard some stories too from my parents and elders around me. But I have seen situations where by some loved ones in the military have been sent into the violent areas filled with danger, and families, even churches, usually pray for the safe return of those young, gallant people in uniform. So, looking at this topic, I will just say that this idea where by robots go into the danger zone instead of we humans looks so cool because limited lives will be lost, and those people in uniform that we usually pray for always can even live longer and be safe.
Let's come to think about it , like we have seen in those movies where robots face each other instead of all these young folks who are just in their early 20s, don't you think there will be more widows? Families will be happy to see their sons grow up with their lovely kids and wife.
And again, one part of me feels like some of these our leaders are evil, and because it is not humans that are going to war, some of them might think this war thing is a PUG game, and they might want to prolong it because robots can be built again to continue the endless war.
Over here, I have seen how these politicians can be easily powered drunk and they do not care about the welfare of we the people. In the hands of people like this, they might easily forget that the robots that they are using to fight war can easily affect the lives of us citizens because I know for sure that they will abuse the usage.
Just like the soldiers over here usually say, “They only listen to go, not come.” The same thing applies to all these robots because the command they will only listen to is the person who is operating them, and I am also sure that if the wrong person is in control of these robots, it will definitely cause more damage than we expect.
I believe that the sole purpose of technology was to make our lives easier and not to cause havoc, and this is why using robots to fight wars will be very disastrous because if all these leaders see no importance to our lives, then I will say that even robots will not be able to save us.
And that being said, I will also say that I do not think it is normal for us humans to have a future that is controlled by a button when someone is in the control room and is controlling those robots; rather, something that has conscience is the best because we are not all the same, and without conscience, unending war might start, which might leave a very deep scars on us and even affect our future kids that are yet to be born.
