Hello friends, It's weekend. Thank God it's weekend It's also the final edition of the weekly prompt.
Childhood memories are so hard to forget. I simply wish I could go back to those days were there were little or no problems, just eat and sleep 😂.
Growing into adulthood is sometimes is a little challenging, you have much to think about with lot of obligations even as a lady.
There's this song Adulthood na scam sometimes it seems real 😂 but yet life is in the process and I suppose every stage has it's lesson to teach.
My dad is a no nonsense guy, he doesn't hit or punish us but he's good at yelling and that may even make you cry. My mother was the disciplinarian, I didn't like her and was afraid of her but now am more matured and likely realize more that is was all for the best and my wellness. They made me keep reserved and made sure we were close to God. My parents love education very much and would go to any mile to make sure that we got the finest education required.
Although I didn't go to the top secondary schools, but they made sure I attended a very decent one. They would also offer me series of counsel, such as "Be happy with what you have and never compete with others".
Growing up, Myself was an introvert , we didn't live in a public compound, so it was only I and my siblings. I am the 5th kid out of 6 children (5 girls and 1 boy) I am the last female. I did appreciate my solitude and didn't want to mingle with anyone. I started loosing up after I obtained admission in higher institution and encountered plenty of people that's when my socializing began.
In my nursery and secondary school, I was one of the bight student, I did had 1- 3 positions. I attended a day school via our although my older siblings did attend a broading school.
I didn't go a boarding school since I had cold Issues. After my primary school I even wrote the admission test for the boarding school and did pass well but became ill the next week I had to remain back home.
I didn't learn how to cook early as I had 4 older sisters who always did the cooking but when they went the higher institution, I had no alternative but to learn how to cook and now cooking became my hobby.
I could recall when I could take food stuffs from my kitchen only to walk outside and prepare outside the home with empty items to practice what I watch my mother and older sister do. Then I had the chance to cook I accomplished it very well. I would also carry my teddy bear as my kid and make sure it sleep and take care of it like my child 🤣
In my childhood I had a great buddy named Evidence. We met in school an attended the same elementary and secondary school. We did virtually everything together but lost touch with her when we relocated, years ago, I regained her contact but we weren't as close as we were.
Childhood was really fun and those experiences what made me who am i today.
Thank you for reading
Have a lovely weekend
