Is Education scam??
Sometimes, I genuinely feel so that after all the hardship of searching, admission, spending 5 years in school going for NYSC then coming out without a Job. Does that imply I squandered all those years?
From my perspective, I would argue Education is not scam, but it is the system of Education that is scam
Using my Country as a case study.
Sadly students have remained at home for 4 months and the government is not saying anything about it. There's much less value for education and that's what made it scam.
If some nations where education is taken as their priority and employment are acquired after school. Why would I want to label it a scam?
The odd aspect is that no matter how horrible the system of Education turns out to be, people write exams to join university every year ...why?
Because education is still the best.
In as much as learning a skill or trade is important, education is important too.
Some jobs or positions won't giving assigned to you if you are not educated enough.
Education doesn't just educate us on the academic side, it affects attitude positively and makes us better individuals in society.
Education is still one of the keys to success. It is a fantastic tool used to battle ignorance and illiteracy.
Without Education, we would be living in the ancient ages, but today education is like an eye-opener to information.
If education can be taken seriously and given one of the greatest priorities, generating employment to graduate, granting scholarships to the less advantaged. Nobody would perceive education as a swindle.
