Hi friends, Happy Tuesday. Thank you for checking my blog 🤗. It's another week as usual, different editions of the weekly prompt.
I saw one meme written "since primary 1 person never rests"😂. It really means since we are born we keep passing through one stress or the other. I don't think anyone can ever get away from stress.
Yeah maybe children, but tlhey also experience stress at their level.
Stress can be different ways educational stress(studying and having good grades), financial stress(trying to make money for yourself or family and make ends meet) , mental stress as a result of failed goals or relationships. Stress isn't what I pray for anyone because sometimes it even causes depression.

The current cause of my stress is school. Yeah school is good and important but it's really stressful. The worst part is that we want to make money while schooling. This process can drain you. You might ask "why look for money when you're in school,why not focus and study till you're done?"
My dear, the expenses as a student are much. Those allowance my parents give don't even get to a week. Considering the fact that things aren't easy too at home and you have junior ones at home you will have to assist yourself.
My classes are more of morning class. It starts by 8am and end by 6pm. Sometimes I wonder who do these timetable if they don't know we are students 😟. The students will be exhausted lecturers don't care but keep teaching. I once had an ulcer just because I wasn't eating well. Then I learned never to miss morning food no matter how late I am for class.
Not only classes, assignments, seminars, practicals are draining. Piled up assignments will take both time, energy and resources. You still have to study and rest for impromptu tests and exams just to have a good result to make your parents proud.
As a student, school stress is inevitable but then you can manage it.
First, setting your schedule. It makes you have a planned day and minimizes stress.
Do some exercises and what you love. I also listen to music and watch movies. It helps me ease stress
Have a rest. Rest is very important for stress. The body works like a machine and when exhausted it breaks down(sickness).
After classes when I am back I take a cool bath, make sure I eat and then rest or sleep. I might even sleep till the next day if I am very tired.
I don't play on my weekends. I make sure I have enough rest then for the week ahead.
All these things work for me and help me reduce stress. As much as I can't avoid school stress or get rid of it. I know this is a phase because I will soon graduate at least no more early morning classes, assignments, seminars. Furthering my education to masters I hope it isn't as stressful as university.
