Medical science has been advanced so much that the deadly decease in past now even do not exists, as the vaccination is available and if you have been vaccinated on time you are fully secured. If we compare the time like 10 year ago you will ne amaze that medicines and the treatment are so advanced and become so accurate that they pin point the location to be treated. One of my friend is working in the medical field, to be specific they are into machines which help the doctors during the surgery. He explain me that how the technology is helping the doctors and the machine they are developing the gives the real time data like trajectories of instruments / needle (when piercing inside the body), which is very helpful in many critical areas in the body like spine and brain. Of course the price of such instruments is also very high which make the treatment using those machines also high (the doctors or hospitals have also recovered the cost form the patients only. Money become the supreme and if you do not have money then you can not get the access to those expensive treatments. Such facilities are available in Government Hospitals also but their is long queue and if you have emergency then it may be a big problem for you and secondly the maintenance of such expensive instruments / machines is also a topic of concern in government run hospitals.
In past the doctor profession was treated as noble profession and the doctors are treated as the God on earth as they have the talent to save the life of person and have the ability to cure the person with his knowledge. But now days everything is materialistic and even the doctors do not treat the patients as they should, patients are the bread and butter for them and even more then that they are ATM machine for them. When you went to market to purchase something we mostly negotiate with seller for price reduction, but here do you think you are in a position to have negotiation with them, No you do not. Many time we read the news and come to know about the incidents happened around us which make us think twice before visiting doctors. If I just google I will find many incidents where a patient was denied for treatment because he or she do not able to pay the hospital fee or bills. Some time this is the case with minors or pregnant ladies also. One side we advanced so much in medical that we claiming that we are having cure of most of the decease and on other side we do not treat people as they do so rich to pay the heavy bills.
Denying emergency medical treatment or surgery due to unpaid fees is a severe violation of medical ethics and patient rights.
I admit that not every time the hospitals or the doctors are to be blamed as their are many incidents where the patient make the doctor fool to just get treated themself. If you do not have money to pay bills and you are asking for a favor from hospital then its ok but if you are making others fool to save your money then its wrong and this will become the reason for not trusting the needed people also.
In my opinion if someone is died because someone is not able to pay the fee then the advancement in medical line we are claiming is of no use and we should be ashamed off.
