I hate watching Big Brother and most of the world's popular trends of feeding the masses with dumb content. But I admit that the FIFA men's World Cup is something that always brings my time to a standstill every 4 years. I know that FIFA exploits the host countries with high ticket prices and also demands investments to be able to host the tournament. It is a terrible organization that only wants profits on top of us. But I love to watch soccer, and I will definitely go to watch this World Cup that is partially happening in Canada.

While I gave up on watching it live for many reasons that were slowly removing my faith in being able to watch it. First, the decision to remove Edmonton as a possible city host. Edmonton is just 5h driving from here, now the closest city is Vancouver, which is a bit more than double. But I was still open to watching it live.
I was trying to find tickets for Saturday, June 13th, but the ticket prices were crazy! The cheapest that I found was 300 CAD per person. And the game that day would be Australia vs Turkey. Nothing against both teams, but for sure it isn't an inviting match to invest so much money. Don't forget that I would need to pay for lodging and food for my family for at least one night.
Well, I am starting to get heated for the tournament, after the published squads from the major national squads like Brazil, which I got a bit disappointed in seeing Neymar on the list. I really think that it won't be the year for Brazil again!
But some of the games friends are planning are another way to have fun and perhaps watch other games that aren't so interesting in the tournament, since the number of teams has grown, and we will have the chance to follow Cabo Verde, Uzbekistan, and Jordan.

I watched 3 games in that tournament, and that was fun for sure. It would be so much fun to watch it with my kids!

For sure, Chile vs Spain was the best game, since the two teams wanted to win the game and we had fun cheering for Chile.
I went to watch Argentina 3x0 Bosnia in 2014 and took some pictures of Messi on the field.
It is the most famous soccer event, so probably all those who like to watch soccer will be watching in person in the stadiums or on TV. I am also happy that there are other hivians to share this passion with, and let's see who will win the Sportsblock tournament.
For sure, the teams that I support won't win, but still I can have fun.

Eu detesto assistir ao BBB e à maioria das tendências populares mundiais que alimentam as massas com conteúdo idiota. Mas admito que a Copa do Mundo masculina da FIFA é algo que sempre me paralisa a cada quatro anos.
Sei que a FIFA explora os países anfitriões com preços exorbitantes de ingressos e também exige investimentos para poder sediar o torneio. É uma organização terrível que só pensa em lucro às nossas custas. Mas adoro assistir futebol e com certeza irei assistir a esta Copa do Mundo, que em parte acontecerá no Canadá.

Embora eu tenha desistido de assistir ao vivo por vários motivos que estavam lentamente minando minha fé em conseguir assistir. Primeiro, a decisão de remover Edmonton como possível cidade-sede. Edmonton fica a apenas 5 horas de carro daqui. Agora, a cidade mais próxima é Vancouver, que fica um pouco mais que o dobro.
Mas eu ainda estava aberto a assistir ao vivo. Eu estava tentando encontrar ingressos para sábado, 13 de junho, mas os preços estavam absurdos! O mais barato que encontrei foi 300 dólares canadenses por pessoa. E o jogo naquele dia seria Austrália x Turquia.
Nada contra as duas equipes, mas com certeza não é uma partida que justifique investir tanto dinheiro. Sem falar que eu precisaria pagar hospedagem e alimentação para minha família por pelo menos uma noite.
Bem, estou começando a ficar animado para o torneio, depois da divulgação das convocações das principais seleções, como a do Brasil, na qual fiquei um pouco decepcionado ao ver Neymar na lista. Acho mesmo que este não será o ano do Brasil novamente!
Mas alguns jogos que amigos estão organizando são outra forma de se divertir e talvez assistir a outros jogos menos interessantes do torneio, já que o número de equipes aumentou e teremos a chance de acompanhar Cabo Verde, Uzbequistão e Jordânia.

Então, já estou convencida de que assistirei a todos os jogos do meu sofá neste torneio, e a Copa do Mundo de 2014 no Brasil foi a oportunidade que tive de assistir ao vivo a este torneio incrível.
Assisti a 3 jogos naquele torneio, e foi muito divertido, com certeza. Seria muito divertido assistir aos jogos com meus filhos!

Com certeza, Chile x Espanha foi o melhor jogo, já que as duas equipes queriam muito ganhar e nos divertimos torcendo pelo Chile.
Fui assistir à Argentina 3x0 Bósnia em 2014 e tirei algumas fotos do Messi em campo.
É o evento de futebol mais famoso, então provavelmente todos que gostam de assistir a futebol estarão assistindo pessoalmente nos estádios ou pela TV.
