I am glad to be part of this week's content and I will be sharing with you my favorite mode of transport
Imagine if there were no security issues, no traffic and the risk of accidents has been reduced to the barest minimum... What would be your favorite mode of transport? Give us your reasons.
With all the fear that comes into my heart with traveling by road, with all these terrible road cases and insecurities in my country Nigeria.
I once had a road trip with my Mum, I and my mum don't usually travel together but I had an opportunity to travel with her to Lagos to visit my elder sis that just put to bed. Because I had never traveled to Lagos before and that was my first time traveling to Lagos.
That was the biggest opportunity I had to travel with my Mum, and we have a peaceful and nice trip, we listen to music, drank and eat anything of my choice. But the trip was a little bit stressful because the journey was very long and it took us about one day and halve before reaching.
I am very happy that day. And as for me, I prefer road transport because it's fun, peaceful, cool and exciting. Road transport offers us the opportunity to have a good quality time with whosoever we are traveling with. The reason why I made road transport my favorite mode of transportation is that quality time is what I want. And it also gives me the opportunity to know and see new places I've seen or known yet and to know landmarks, in between all the villages and towns. And also enjoy all the beautiful work of nature that I see on the road.
Thou, Life now has changed and terrible things are happening and road trips are not saved and secured as it was before. But I can still remember from 2016 - to 2019 when I traveled to Lagos by road trip, then it wasn't bad and dangerous as it is now.
But with the way things are going now in the country, if I'm been asked what's my favorite mode of transport, I will proudly say I choose Air trip because it's faster and safer.
Thou, it is expensive, but I think there's no price on my life. And I pray that things should get better in the nearest future so I can partake in road transportation which I really love that has no danger and fear.
