Traditional Belief are said to be some rule or doctrines which are layed down for the people of a tribe and this are the guys which governs everyone of a tribe which won't make them go astray. These beliefs are more like the do's and don'ts of a specific tribe.

Lets take into consideration my tribe, I shall be describing briefly about my tribe and the traditional Belief what they believe in and what they don't do and what they do.

About the traditional Belief, actually I was not born when the beliefs were made neither was my father nor mother there but from history which was laid down we were able to hear about some of the beliefs which I will state out now. And the tribe which I am talking about is ekiti state.

- In my tradition,they belief that you cannot marry from the same tribe or the same lineage.
- In my tribe, a lady is not allowed to go out when ever the town sanctification is going on.
- In my tradition, some aspect of my tribe don't take guinea corn and some of them don't eat snakes because it's their doctrine.
- In my tribe, for every child born will have to go through some certain steps to know if the child is truly a son or daughter of the house or not..
- In my tribe, an outsider is not entitled to go to the shrine without the supervision of the priest.
- An outsider is not expected to walk at night if you are not an indegene of the town.
