God did not end his work of creation without bringing this set of professionals into the scene. This profession is the only profession that is recognized in the Bible. It is the mother and the father of all professions. I wonder how the world would have been without this set of persons you stop when he said let us make man in our image he is already been administrative.
All this I mean to introduce to you an Administrator. Public Administration is the process of attending to the need of the public who comes in contact with the organization. An administration is the first point of call of any organization. He gives himself to meet the need of the organization. If an Admin or the Secretary of any firm chooses not to give the organization a good representation that organization in no time will go down. This is while most organization still send their employees for administration courses.
Public Administrators do not have bounds when it comes to where they can be employed after their basic education because it is the need of every organization be it standard or upcoming organization.
There are various specialties in Administration. They include but are not limited to;
- Procurement Managers
- Human Resources/Personnel Managers
- Research Department
- Conflict Management
My area of specialty is Human Resource management. My love for this department is second to none and that is the area I also conducted my final year research. Fortunately for me, it was the best in all and my supervisor promised to publish it, I did not follow up to know the success rate.
What helped me develop an interest in this department was the way my lecturer who now happens to be my supervisor relates this subject. He has this special way of driving home his point to the point that everyone gets to understand it in the simplest form.
In most places, I found myself I have been saddled with secretarial duties and trying as much as I can to put in my best. Playing with words is not a problem to us hence there is a spirit activated for it.
I have so much passion to see that people get go remuneration for what they work for as personnel management has to do with everything relating to how employees are brought in or fired from the organization and the remuneration they get at the end of the day.
After my youth service, I have tried to get an establishment to help me practice what I have learned but the only option I get in my environment is to be a teacher in a primary school, I have seen that that will take so much from me so I rejected the offer
How Administration Will Help Shape the Society
- some people are in a particular position in the organization and they do not deserve to be there at all, with the help of human resource manager people will be fixed into their proper place in the organization
- Most private institutions do not give proper remuneration to their employees, the help of human resource management will make for proper remuneration
- If this is made practical then theory things will be done properly in every organization
- some people are not supposed to be in the workforce again because their age has passed the age of civil service but administrators will help to fish them out
- Snake will not be swallowing our money because some have given themselves for the organizational development
