Major Causes Of Pollution And Possible Remedies

First, What is Pollution?

Hmm, that's simple. In my own terms, pollution is an act of putting/ leaving a place disorganized or disordered. Places that can be disorganized or disordered, in other words polluted are air, water, land and so on.

In our planet today, we've come to understand the effect of pollution in our ecosystem. Our ozone layer keeps depleting as the day goes by and it's all because of pollution.

What Is The Major Cause Of Pollution

Pollution has various causes which are almost innumerable but the major Cause of pollution is;

• Human inventions - Humans have been so civilized that we started creating machines and other sophisticated equipment which have both advantages and disadvantages and one of the disadvantage is pollution. Example of these inventions are, vehicles, machines, huge buildings and so on.

I've come to understand that, these machines have very good advantages and that's why most humans forgot about the disadvantage. The more we keep using our machines and vehicles the more they cause pollution to the ecosystem. And the sooner we realize this, the better for everyone. We can use them, but we should know when it's time to get a new one and take the old one for recycling.

• Also Another major Cause of pollution is the misuse of things in general. Most of us are very smart in our own ways and we fail to read the manual. We believe we know it better and we don't want any directions from one tiny piece of paper. This too has caused us a lot as regard the pollution we are facing today in our world.

There are other causes which are very common so I will just Stick to the major ones.

Now, what are the solutions to this major causes of pollution.

• Government should enact laws to control the vehicles that are worthy for road use and they should stick to it till the end.

• Individuals should have humanity at heart, they should think of others and not their self alone.

• We should always study our manual and follow the directions.

• We should educate the young ones the importance of keeping our ecosystem safe from pollution and we should also serve as examples to them.

• Inventions made by humans should be available only to those that are skilled in using it. If you're observant, you will notice that people who have little or no knowledge about vehicles are the major people on our roads today, especially here in Nigeria.

• Recycling should be encouraged by the government by adding it to school curriculum.
