MY HOLIDAYS
Holidays in my country are always fun days for most of us not really because we enjoy a lot of fun things but because we get to be free from school activities and also rest more. I attended a public school for about 8 years and in those 8 years, it was not really easy for me, so I always loved it when it is a holiday. Some holidays were just a few weeks while some holidays last for a month but I always love a longer holiday because I get a break from waking up early so I don't go late to school as I always get punished whenever that happens and it's all because my place was really far from my school.
MY WORST HOLIDAY
I had a very bad holiday some years back when I went to stay with my grandmother, she was a very good farmer and she always wanted me to assist her at the farm, never minding whether or not I'm happy or even feeling well. I was not even bold enough to tell her I wasn't interested in following her to the farmland because this will make her lecture me all day long and I didn't want that. That was my worst holiday ever because going to the farm at that time was really so strength draining because of the harsh weather, the sun was really so hot at that time and it was so hard for me since I was still young then.
MY BEST HOLIDAY
I had a really amazing holiday last two years during the covid 19 out break. Yes I know, that was not a very good year for many but the truth is, it was a good one for me and I consider that year a very relaxing year for me and also a happy year as well because during that holiday, my aunt gave birth to a baby girl and I had the opportunity to spend a lot of time with her and also assist my aunt. According to my aunt, she said she was not sure how it would have been if there was no covid 19 lockdown, that would have meant I won't have been able to assist her and it won't have been easy for her. I felt so happy for that holiday as I got to become a good mother 😁😁.
Holidays for me are always valuable because I get to spend a lot of time doing what I want, learning new things outside things that are official. My life has been filled with so many things that has always want to make me sad and that's why I always appreciate holidays as I get enough time to find myself.
