Greetings to all of us who have been in this beloved community, today I am back in front of your eyes to share the story of my experience being contacted by fraudsters. Before continuing, I would first like to thank the Hive Learners community for giving me the opportunity to enter this week's very challenging contest.
As we know this week is the 17th week of the first edition of the contest in this beloved community and in the last few weeks many have shown their writing skills and it really made me want to join like the others.
Our daily life of course cannot be separated from fraud because so many times we see people being cheated in various ways, whether it is fraud with the media or fraud with the real world, in that case it certainly cannot be separated from the wishes of someone who has bad intentions towards others. Talking about fraud, of course from ancient times there have been various kinds of fraud and now with the media as a means of communication, fraud is rampant in this case, we and those close to us are exposed to fraud from people who are not responsible for their personal interests. .
Like our discussion today I will tell you about my experience being contacted by a fraud, at that time I was contacted via cellphone and I really don't know where they got my cellphone number but at that time I saw a number entered and thinking who was calling at the same time I didn't think long because the person who called me could be someone who knew me like close friends and family but after I picked up the phone from that person suddenly that person confidently told me that they were from the telegram, which they said gave me a sum of one million rupiah, or the equivalent of about $70 United States dollars.
After the scammer offered a large amount of money they gave me a condition which seemed like it didn't hurt me at all and the condition they gave was to give me a code that went through my telegram which aims to confirm that I have agreed to receive some money that, to be honest at the same time my mind was fooled by their words and I almost sent my telegram confirmation code to them, and they almost got my telegram, and I don't know what they want from my telegram but in the end they can't get what they want.
As for me overcoming this by giving them a fake code and they were immediately happy with the code, not long after because the code I gave was fake they called me back and they told me to double-check whether the code I gave was right or wrong . At the same time I was a little busy so I asked them a few questions, which questions I asked them directly where they lived and why they liked to cheat so much. And the scammer is still confident to maintain his attitude, I already knew he was a fraud so I kept asking so that there were times when I pretended to be a policeman and I told them that your number I have tracked and all data I have saved. Don't you have any other work besides deceiving people?
After I pretended to be a policeman and the fraudster immediately spontaneously formed me in a loud voice they said I don't care who you are and I also don't care who your parents are even though you are the president's son I don't care so I ask them again, if you don't care about me so what do you think if you go to jail With a loud tone of question from me the scammer immediately turned off the phone and I still didn't stay silent trying to give them a bit of a fright, didn't wait long I immediately called them back and called from me they kept refusing and I also didn't give up until I tried to call with my other number and it turned out they picked up the call from me well at that moment I immediately said I could track your call history if I saw your number it called another number whoever it was me will come to you today too.
After I said that the impostor quietly without saying anything cut off the phone from my conversation. And I tried to call back and it turns out the fraudster turned off his cellphone. A few hours later I tried to call them back but still their cellphone number is not active, it seems they are really afraid of what I did.
My advice for friends is never to believe what other people say in the hope of benefiting us because in this world there is no such thing as free of course every activity will be paid for if someone offers a big profit without doing something hard believe me they are scammers , if you find the scammer, don't hesitate to give them a little bluff so they realize that not everyone is easy for them to trick.
Well maybe today is all that I can tell you about the experience of being contacted by telegram fraud and I apologize if there are word mistakes in my writing, that's all from me until I meet again in my next post, of course in this beloved community.
Special thanks:
I would also like to invite my friends to participate in this contest:
